1-1

Realistically, but with some optimism. The spoils are even between the two teams so far thus season.

I would be statisfied with this result - but the players must go for the win.

so I reckon a gritty 1-1 draw at best, but not to get upset if we lose, no shame, they are full of good players, we have many far more winnable games. COYS!!!!!!!!

2-0 to Birmingham. They need to up their game and will. Our boys will be starting to tire.

If we're lucky Birmingham's home form will continue to be poor and we might nick something. However, poor form counts for nothing when you're playing Saints.

Looking at the other fixtures for tomorrow I fear we could slip backwards down the table again without a win :-(

3-1 Brum. We get early goal. They fight back in beat us rather easily. A bit of a reality check to Wotte. Next game we grind out a win. (I'm a big pessimist!)

Don't need to be a pessimist to be realistic about our chances at St Andrews.

Isn't it great seeing the optimism ooze back on here?!

I'm going for a 3-3 with us winning 3-1 with 10mins to go... ok, so I've lacked the optimism for the final 10mins.

'Team start to tire..'

Half the starting 11 have only been regulars for the last 5 games....

It was more of a cascade than an ooze IMO.

I Hope we win but I think that they may well be too strong for us.

I'd take a point but let's look at the big picture, time to be sensible and tactical....

WE musn't go risking injured players against a top team away when we have two winnable home games round the corner.

'We can fight and win every game!!' shouts the village idot as the squad hobbles off nursing injuries and red cards....

I'm not saying surrender up there if they are there for the taking, another 9 points by next week would be great but we have to prioritise and keep the best players fresh and non-suspended.

No point in getting in a battle with Brum if it leaves the squad stretched and gets us two 0-0 draws at home.

We might even lose 2-0 up there if the squad is tired, BUT we can then blow Derby and QPR to bits next week - 6 out of 9 would do for me.

Panic ye not if we get nothing tomorrow.

0-0

Think a 4th win is asking for too much and a point at Brum is still a good result.

Other games affecting us are:

Blackpool v Norwich - have to hope for a draw as either winning is bad news.

Barnsley aren't playing, (so will have two games in hand on us)

Charlton v Watford

Forest v Swansea

Plymouth v Reading

i'm not sure

especially as it says no Euell in the squad

Saints squad: (from) Davis, Forecast, Bialkowski, James, Saeijs, Perry, Liptak, Skacel, Molyneux, Wotton, Gillett, Surman, Schneiderlin, Smith, Boyle, Gobern, Boyle, Lallana, McGoldrick, Wright-Phillips, Saganowski, Paterson

Like SFCL I haven't a clue about this one! I'd like to predict a win, but the last time I did, I felt a right idiot when we lost, so I'd better remain mute but ever hopeful. Hope the Euell was a typo error.:):o

We beat Brum when we were shyte under Poortaloo so we'll lose this one, I just hope it doesn't affect the confidence we seem to have at the moment.

Stanley, give up the act eh You must be gutted at the recent run of results.

Two Boyles and no Euells so I reckon that, in the absence of any injury news about Euell, he should be one of the Boyles!

I so want us to win but Brum are a very good side and when did we last win 4 in a row in the league[/n]*?

*I think we did including a league cup game in 02-03

2006/2007 season, Leeds away 3-0, Luton home 2-1, Birmingham home 4-3, Hull away 4-2.

I think 1-1 which won't be a bad result.

Well spotted, there had to be a reason why Euell wasn't even mentioned even though omitted from the squad list.
