Not sure that would be allowed as there are a lot of fossils on the fringe side.

And don't forget that the Luvvies would be mincing around and likely to get easily hurt. So a medical team would be required too.

Well I hold a full First Aider certificate and have a middle stance on not quite being fossil like and also not in the Love/loathe Lowe camp. Might I offer my assistance?

125 quid!? That's cheaper then football aid. I'ld be up for it.

Yep, that's a god price. I'd be up for it

yeah but the Lowe lot would have the advantage of double barrelled shot guns and so you socialist lovies could be the duckies. Itell you what the shooting would be very accurate

The Luvvies Vs The Fringe

lmao that would be great but im guessing the new football kit would consist of the same kit used in ice hockey - skates or there may be a few deaths lol

That was exactly my thought when I saw that it was £4k for the whole thing.

I would potentially be willing to organise it, but would obviously need definite numbers.

It's easy enough for people to say "yeah, I'll play", but actually parting with that sort of money for one game of football is another matter :)

Actually being able to run around for 90 minutes would be an issue for me...

Fair play, I'm in, I'm sure some, unable to play, would contribute to get the thing going and to see some posters up against each other, would Alpine come over for this one ??

Would it be open to come and watch?

I am too unfit to run around for that length of time, but I wouldn't pass up the opportunity to see you lot kick the sh*t out of each other.

You could always do the old 22 players per team and do a complete swap at half time, therefore each person gets 45 mins... and the price comes down to £87 per head (including 2 managers)

ah crap i didnt think of that. i guess im out too lol

I'd get in training. I associate football with five-a-side these days. And whilst the forty minute games i play each week are knackering it's a little more hectic.

I was thinking the same......a quid each to see a bloodbath/comedy show/snail race/first aid practice day........would be great, pity I'm too old:(

Hence having squads of 15 :)

Sub on sub off? In fact instead of me asking stupid questions how's about someone points me in the direction of a link to this?

2 "Manager", 30 players (11+4 subs each) = 32 people

£125 each for a Saints Web match, bloody expensive IMHO!

wouldnt be fair the subs paying £125 though

I would say so, yes.

As far as I can tell, it's entirely up to the organisers (after all, it's your money!) as to how they want that side of things to be played.

The officials should be happy with whatever arrangement you want, as long as they are actually told about it beforehand

Indeed, I thought that, so better to have 22 man squads each player getting a half (like Soccer Aid IIRC).

the 22 players intersted me more as everyone would get 45 mins each for not too much wedge and i think my feet might just about manage 45 mins lol

Won't it be a bit one sided............I suspect the Lovies could only field a team of 3, unless JFP gets his move South;);)

im in torquay and id come up for it as long as i could afford it. dont give a monkeys what side im on though lol

44 + people in each dressing room :-)

why dont we do it like football aid etc. Have a bidding style thing for each position with say 5 positions being subbed at half time?

No, 22. The article says you have sue of both dressings rooms, so no need to put all 44 in the same room.

Football Aid has squads of 16, with 5 pre-determined substitutions taking place at half-time. The people designated to sub on/off at half-time obviously pay less than those who play 90 minutes.

Personally, I'd be sceptical that we'd get more than 30 people willing to pay £100-odd to play.

With rolling subs, it's much more likely that the subs will play a bigger part in the game as you could rotate 2 from 3 outfield players at any one time being on the pitch, which in theory means that each of those three players would play an hour each.

Who's this Sue person? If she's fit I wouldn't mind spending time in the dressing room with her.
