Holmes back in the ressies next week?

but suggests that Holmes may be back in the first team in a few weeks. There aren't that many reserves fixtures left so let's hope he continues to mend well.

What a shame it isn't Nick Holmes. Now he would be a real asset. The left side of midfield would be his territory, and nobody elses.

Holmes is the personification of the Poortvliet era. Looks pretty, ponces about, ultimately does **** all of any use.

Not sure why people DONT rate him if I'm honest. Seems to be the only decent thing to come out of the JP era. If he were to stay fit im sure he'd pop up with a few goals and assists. He may not be the worlds best winger but hes far from the worst player on our books Smith anyone?. In a standard 4-4-2 formation I'm sure he'd be a big asset however would he be able to nail down a position in the current incarnation e.g. diamond formation I'm not so sure. Shame really!

Personally think he's quality & hope he's fit and back involved soon. Looking forward to Saga & JE getting on the end of his usual decent deliveries into the box

He's ok I think. The issue under the system we were playing was that we didn't get anyone in the box, so as a winger he was bound to look ineffective.
