Minty Posted 5 March, 2009 Share Posted 5 March, 2009 I think I heard on the radio that the Illegal Eagles are playing in Salisbury this weekend... they're supposed to be very good, although not seen them myself.
hamster Posted 5 March, 2009 Author Share Posted 5 March, 2009 No brainer then What you say about my wife? I will of course be holding a tranny to my ear from 3PM until 5. They are Minty, but have just found out that a band called Monkey Face are playing the Chuff (sp), and it's free entry, plus proper beer. Hope you're well mate? hamster Posted 5 March, 2009 Author Share Posted 5 March, 2009 I have to say, that the internet is absolutely rubbish for local listings. I had similar problems last month re live music in Oxford. I have b more success by cold calling pubs than from search engines. There is a definite need for a decent website for this sort of thing. I am willing to let someone use the domain www.hamsterslive.co.uk for a percentage. seriously though, it is dire.

Im seriously thinking about putting something together, even god a cracking url for it. I might have to have a chat with Bajjer. Just off to the station now. Cheers. When you've chatted to Baj and set it up PM me and I'll let you have my address where you should send my royalty cheques to. Seriously though this would be great, but would require a lot of leg work IMHO, and many phone calls and e-mails. But once set up it would be so popular, I would use it all the time. Seriously.
