Where does this fit in terms of evolution?

Weird Fish With Transparent Head

Evolution? I would say it was a deep water fish and therefore needed to keep its eyes as protected as possible, whilst still being able to use the barreleye method of looking up and forward; therefore the simple use of a translucent dome on its head rather than thick, opaque skin would allow the eyes to be sunk back, whislt giving good "up" vision.

Give Evolution a few million years and it comes up with some real beauts.

Why thank you, but that photo was for you and you only.

You're going to have to explain that one for me Pancake. Pop across to the other forum if it's an essay. Cheers.

By 'eck. You cant get it from reading the exchange?

I was simply playing on your comments about evolution producing some beauties; inferring that you were referring to me - a theme I expanded to include a faux-reference to a photo I had sent you; the contents of which were hinted at being racey, hence the request to keep it to yourself.

Jeez, you expect me to get that without explanation..? I'm only a humble football supporter, not Sherlock Holmes..!
