Spirit of Southampton

I started a thread a few months back after a heavy defeat bemoaning the lack of spirit within the club!! I know we are not safe by any stretch of the imagination, but how bloody good does it feel tonight!!? Rumours of a great spirit in the camp emerging, pics of Rudi well up for it, Euell rolling back the years!! The spirit is still alive, we all need to keep it going now!!!! Bring on the 4 timer......

It is a good feeling, but I still think that we are still some way off recovering the true Spirit of Southampton. I last really felt like that when we were regularly turning over the likes of Liverpool and Man Utd - and just generally being the little club that could hold their own. We are still a long way from that - and there is still a very good chance that we could go down.

 

So whilst there is an inevitable optimistic air about the club right now - I still wouldn't say that the Spirit of Southampton is yet fully recovered.
