has he actually still got any money now?

Don't worry I also wrote to Bernie Madoc just in case.. Only For Rupert, I will never give up attempting to bring in investment. I hope I am not the only one trying to secure monies for SFC in these difficult times.

Now we are winning I feel we have a chance of being saved financially and I will do my utmost. I will have a word with Mandelson..He has some tast friends.:D

'kin brilliant. What makes it better for me was that when I checked the half time scores, I half expected us to be ahead. Came back to the computer at full time and wasn't surprised we had hammered them. My only surprise was the identity of the goal-scorers, but it's great to know we have goals in the team and aren't reliant on Saga to get them.

Now missed a days skiing stuck in bed with a cold :(, but can't wait to go to Derby game. We owe them after the last 2 games. Saga tore them a new one on his debut, but couldn't find the net, then missed a sitter in the PO first leg. Lets hope he rectifies that.

Went to the match last night but my first opportunity to post. I'm not sure if Saints played Ipswich off of the park of if Ipswich didn't turn up. Either way, we still absolutly destroyed them and could have won by six. I only had to make a 45 minute trip to Portman road last night, but to all those that came from back home: ****ING SUPERB SUPPORT!

On paper the last three games against top six sides looked like a nightmare about to unfold so how we have conjured up 9 points and 7 goals for and 1 against beggars belief. It is not impossible we could get a result at St Andrews but a draw will be a good result and people shouldn't lose heart if it turns out that way.

As long as others around us are playing we will still have a game in hand which would take us past Blackpool all other things being equal. Then we have to match them and Norwich, win-for-win, draw-for-draw and can even afford a loss-for-loss.

It is still best to set a points target. We know 52 would make us safe and now we have 37, hence Mark Votte's comment of needing 5 wins from 11. Still a BIGGIE of a tall order but not quite so far fetched as it seemed a couple of weeks ago.

I do not think we can score or beat Brum at St Andrews, they'll be waiting for us for sure; a 0-0 draw will be about the best we can get BUT we must not get sloppy at the back as we did last night.

Burley is/was a clapped out idiot who ****ed up.

In the mould of Wenger who thinks you don't need a defense.

Wow! Just wow! Are you joking? I would assume so, but I don't quite see what is supposed to be humorous about that.

Let's see, Arsene Wenger, the only manager for more than 100 years to lead his team through an entire season unbeaten, winner of three Prem titles and 4 FA Cups, including doing the double twice! Got to the final of the Champion's League in 2005/6 with a defense that went 10 consecutive games without giving up a goal, losing narrowly in the final to a superb Barcelona team. Yeah, Wenger is crap alright! My god, some folk around here really do not know the first thing about football: this explains a lot.

No wonder you can post the nonsense you post about Saints in general and Burley in particular. And this is probably the most absurd thing you have ever posted: comparing Burley to Wenger: he wishes! What a laugh, I think I see the humour now!

blimey. BBC tatter came on and just went on about how bad Ipswish were. Im fed up with how many times we win because the opo had a bad day.

They hit the bar and missed a sitter and KD made a few saves.

We missed an open goal and had a few narrow misses and had 2 goals disalowed yet we only won cause they were carp?

Ipswich boss Jim Magilton told BBC Radio Suffolk:

"It's certainly the worst since I became manager, without a shadow of a doubt. It was three (nil) going on six.

"It was not acceptable. The crowd had every right to voice their opinion.

"You have to have a few words after that performance. You want to know where it came from. It stunned the life out of me. I didn't see it coming."

Cardiff City boss Dave Jones:

"I don't think we performed anywhere near what we are capable of. I think possibly four out-field players did their jobs and the rest didn't turn up.

F***ing whingers!!!

Do you deny that Wotte has sorted out the defence (with Killer's help) ?

Do you deny that Burley systematically neglected said defence ?

Do you deny that this is one of our best runs in yonks ? Not only because it PL 3, W 3, F 7, A 1, but because of the nature of the opposition ?

Do you deny that playing a stable unchanged team, with each player in or near their ususal positions, was a problem Burley had ??

What has that got to do with comparing Wenger to Burley? There's no comparison there.

So on a head to head points who's winning, Woote or Pearson?

Least if the worst does happen we have shown some fight!!!

MW must be ahead on pointrs atm, but Pearson still ahead in my book as despite the euphoria of last night, no way would anyone settle for our current standing. MW has until the end of the season to prove himself. I am pretty sure that he would tell us this himself too.

But it is a handicap race. NP needed 16 points from 13 games (if you don't count Plymouth) and MW needs 23 points from 18 games.

The finishing post is still in the same place but NP was a 5 furlong sprint and MW is more of a classic distance.

Was in the Ipswich Corporate area last night just to the left of our fans and I have to say say like the Saints performance on the pitch our support was superb.

Four or Five other Saints fans in the Ipswich end singing the Disco song when our second went in.

At the final whistle we came down to the front of the Ipswich terrace to applaud the team and well done to Lloyd James for coming over to us.

Really proud to be a Saints fan last night.

Sandwich Saint: PMSL at the thread at the weekend ‘Did RL nearly get it right?’; on last night’s evidence he couldn’t have got it more WRONG! If we had played Skacel (Size) Euell Saga from day one we would now be playing to crowds of 25K+ and sitting comfortably in the top-6.

Without the madness of Jan, though, James, McG, Lallana (I know he didn't play), Gillett & Schneiderlin might not of been part of our exciting new team

But with the team we have & youngsters like Paterson bubbling under, you have to really pray we don't f00k it up now, because next season suddenly looks a brighter place

Are the playoffs mathmatically out of our reach yet?

Everyone from QPR downwards are mathematically in the relegation zone. We can send them down (mathematically speaking)!

To be fair to JP, I doubt they would have had much chance under GB (and we would be in administration).

The Saints winning football games is like waiting to catch a bus - nothing happens for ages and then 3 come along at the same time . I'd like to point out that however good he gets I shall continue to refer to Jason Euell as 'The Mule' , although I now claim I mean it in the affectionate sense obviously .

How about the Blessed Mule then?

Or Mighty Mule?
