Saint_clark Posted 3 March, 2009 Posted 3 March, 2009 Dissection is a bit harsh considering how things are going so far.
Northant Saint Posted 3 March, 2009 Posted 3 March, 2009 Yyyyyyyyyeaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
lamanga Posted 3 March, 2009 Posted 3 March, 2009 Blimey, here we go again. Hope still depends on other results as we see this evening..
saint lard Posted 3 March, 2009 Posted 3 March, 2009 Goals from the Championship coming on next on SSN,yeah i know that could be in the next 2 hours or so usually.
Belgiansaint Posted 3 March, 2009 Posted 3 March, 2009 Dissection isn't a negative word SC. Shall we then talk about how Ipswich were analyzed?
Um Bongo Posted 3 March, 2009 Posted 3 March, 2009 Fantastic. Another 3 points. We are one of the Form teams in the CCC. Never thought i would say that this season. Another 3 on Saturday? Yes please!
Toomer Posted 3 March, 2009 Posted 3 March, 2009 Bring on the rest of the season there is a bit of hope now.
saint lard Posted 3 March, 2009 Posted 3 March, 2009 The task ahead to stay up looks just a tad more feasable.
St Landrew Posted 3 March, 2009 Posted 3 March, 2009 Goals from the Championship coming on next on SSN,yeah i know that could be in the next 2 hours or so usually. Presenter said, in a few seconds. Do you believe it..?
saint francis Posted 3 March, 2009 Posted 3 March, 2009 Are the playoffs mathmatically out of our reach yet?
TopGun Posted 3 March, 2009 Posted 3 March, 2009 Huzzah... well played the lads! Shame about other results though.
suewhistle Posted 3 March, 2009 Posted 3 March, 2009 To think I was worried when the forum was soooo slow, I thought it was a system crash following a quick 2 Ipswich goals and multiple postings by our resident depressives team.... ;- )
monosaint Posted 3 March, 2009 Posted 3 March, 2009 We play 3 teams in the top half and outplay them. No flukes.. This says to me that given the right management we could have been pushing for promotion.. It's just so frustrating. We may still not survive but with this current run I think the players will have the belief to keep this run going. JP was clearly not up to it so why oh why did they not put Wotte in charge in the first place. Another one of Lowe's experiments.
alpine_saint Posted 3 March, 2009 Posted 3 March, 2009 Did we really just butt-f**k Ipswich by 3 goals, away from home, or has the BBC got it wrong ???????
ozzmeister Posted 3 March, 2009 Posted 3 March, 2009 So on a head to head points who's winning, Woote or Pearson? Least if the worst does happen we have shown some fight!!!
saintjay77 Posted 3 March, 2009 Posted 3 March, 2009 blimey. BBC tatter came on and just went on about how bad Ipswish were. Im fed up with how many times we win because the opo had a bad day. They hit the bar and missed a sitter and KD made a few saves. We missed an open goal and had a few narrow misses and had 2 goals disalowed yet we only won cause they were carp? Will be interesting to hear from anyone that was there. Happy bunny tonight )
bug187 Posted 3 March, 2009 Posted 3 March, 2009 Are the playoffs mathmatically out of our reach yet? lmao
um pahars Posted 3 March, 2009 Posted 3 March, 2009 Huzzah... well played the lads! Shame about other results though. Blackpool lost, as did Barnsley & Charlton, so let's take something from those. Still think it will go to the wire, but we have a much better chance now, not least because we have found some form. Regardless of other results, three points at Ipswich is very, very good.
Foxy Posted 3 March, 2009 Posted 3 March, 2009 Can't wait for Saturday (although on reflection perhaps I am now convinced we will be crashing to earth sometime soon). Oh, fork it, happy, happy day
Under Weststand Posted 3 March, 2009 Posted 3 March, 2009 Well done tonight Saints gives us some real hope now. Shame that most of the other results didn't go our way. But its great to have a bit of feel good factor back for a change.

JP was clearly not up to it so why oh why did they not put Wotte in charge in the first place. Another one of Lowe's experiments. You are right, but I would prefer to dwell on winning 3 games in a row for the first time since God Knows When, and believing we are going to pull clear.
dubai_phil Posted 3 March, 2009 Posted 3 March, 2009 Just back from the pub, we had a celebration for getting our trade licence after one year of work and were p*ssed before the txt's started coming in. Suffice to say I really did NOT give a t*ss about looking like a tw*t leaping up and running around going YEEEAAARRRGGGGGHHHHHHHH. Long way to go but Wotte's going on?
alpine_saint Posted 3 March, 2009 Posted 3 March, 2009 no stanley, saint robbie, alpine saint tonight? Took me half an hour to be able to log in. Not my fault. Grow up.
Dibden Purlieu Saint Posted 3 March, 2009 Posted 3 March, 2009 Did we really just butt-f**k Ipswich by 3 goals, away from home, or has the BBC got it wrong ??????? Hell yeah we did!!!! Can you gonna be a little bit positive tonight please?
del boy Posted 3 March, 2009 Posted 3 March, 2009 Fantastic 9 points - just as well when you see the other results, without these we would be pretty much dead and buried by now. Watford, Barnsley and Blackpool suddenly on the radar now Not sure if I can remember 3 in a row
Saint_Jonny Posted 3 March, 2009 Posted 3 March, 2009 Utterly Fantastic! Never ever ever ever saw 3 wins cummin, bring on the brummies and the rest of the season!
Dibden Purlieu Saint Posted 3 March, 2009 Posted 3 March, 2009 You are right, but I would prefer to dwell on winning 3 games in a row for the first time since God Knows When, and believing we are going to pull clear. Mods, someone has hacked Alpine's account...
Gorgiesaint Posted 3 March, 2009 Posted 3 March, 2009 Fantastic result tonight. We're up to 6th in the form table, Blackpool are bottom & Crystal Palace are 3rd bottom - could they be dragged into the drop zone? http://www.4thegame.com/statistics/championship/tables/currentform.html Great to see Bournemouth out of the L2 drop zone & even better to see Pompey losing - thats what I call a perfect night!!!
adysaint Posted 3 March, 2009 Posted 3 March, 2009 Great result - but 9 points out of 9 and STILL in the drop zone. This league is going a bit mad. Still - imagine you are a Charlton player and you get back in the dressing room after another home defeat and find out Norwich and Saints have both won away from home. Blackpool game now starting to look MASSIVE.
Rob39 Posted 3 March, 2009 Posted 3 March, 2009 My Ipswich season ticket holder friend has just text me to say that we completely outplayed them and that a 7-0 scoreline would have been fair on the night.
View From The Top Posted 3 March, 2009 Posted 3 March, 2009 It drives me nuts that we wasted the first 2/3 of the session with an insane experiment. Come on yooooooooooouuuuuuu reds.
Big Ron fan Posted 3 March, 2009 Posted 3 March, 2009 LMFAO What the fck were we doing for the first 28 games!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just shows what a good season we could have had. Lowe out!
Saints67 Posted 3 March, 2009 Posted 3 March, 2009 Oooo some of the Championships goals coming up on SSN. No doubt after they've further disected the Prem games and previewed tomorrow nights games. Bar stewards.

Palace now have 3 away games in 6 days, so hopefully they will get sucked in.

Good to see Brum in 18th place also
Micky Posted 3 March, 2009 Posted 3 March, 2009 The only thing that takes a little of the gloss of for me is the other results - other than that all I can say is brilliant result - let's just keep it going. Chuffed to bits....
Saints67 Posted 3 March, 2009 Posted 3 March, 2009 My Ipswich season ticket holder friend has just text me to say that we completely outplayed them and that a 7-0 scoreline would have been fair on the night. Will Cope said that some Ipswich fans applauded our lads off the field!
badgerx16 Posted 3 March, 2009 Posted 3 March, 2009 Blackpool game now starting to look MASSIVE. By the time it kicks off we could be above them ; we have Brum away then 2 home ( Derby and QPR ), they have Norwich at home then 2 away ( Sheff Utd & Barnsley ).
ericofarabia Posted 3 March, 2009 Posted 3 March, 2009 Hands up who predicted 3 nil to Saints.... I had 2-0 on the prediction league, but am only too happy to concede max points for the glory of the club Looking at the league table it is frightening to see where we'd have been if we hadn't won 3 on the trot ... WTF have we got to do to get out of the bottom 3 :smt048 Getting merrily sloshed now on some nice Chilean Sauvignon Blanc to complement the 4 pints of London Pride during the game Playing 2 up front .... what a revelation :smt115
Marino Posted 3 March, 2009 Posted 3 March, 2009 Took me half an hour to be able to log in. Not my fault. Grow up. Are you always so aggressive ? Anyway stuff you - well done boys on a wonderful result. Fantastic.
David Strover Posted 3 March, 2009 Posted 3 March, 2009 Palace now have 3 away games in 6 days, so hopefully they will get sucked in. They are actually at home to Preston on Saturday but looking at their fixtures if they don't start picking up some points they are going to get dragged into this quagmire at the bottom without doubt!
Rander Posted 3 March, 2009 Posted 3 March, 2009 Are the playoffs mathmatically out of our reach yet? Last year sixth place got 70 points. It it a good thing we scored three here, given it we might miss out on goal difference after winning the next 11 games.
