tombletomble Posted 28 February, 2009 Posted 28 February, 2009 Get in. Thats what we need. A few more goals would have been great but I am not complaining at all. I'm a very happy man.
It's There Posted 28 February, 2009 Posted 28 February, 2009 delighted...now let's enjoy the moment........ok 3 points next week and my hope will return!
Um Bongo Posted 28 February, 2009 Posted 28 February, 2009 Good. Now to carry it on. Unfortuantly the other ****s in the div couldnt help us.
alpine_saint Posted 28 February, 2009 Posted 28 February, 2009 Starting to believe we might pull ourselves out of this. Wotte has earnt himself a good run. Still, some serious blood-letting needed at the club over the summer. Anyone know the attendance ?
mynameisthehulk Posted 28 February, 2009 Posted 28 February, 2009 Get the **** in there, this is more like it Saints, **** you to all the ****s who want us to fail

saint lard Posted 28 February, 2009 Posted 28 February, 2009 Get in...Wotte gets the players in a huddle in the centre circle at the end apparently
redder freak Posted 28 February, 2009 Posted 28 February, 2009 COYR back to back home wins against 4th placed teams is not relegation form
alpine_saint Posted 28 February, 2009 Posted 28 February, 2009 Get the **** in there, this is more like it Saints, **** you to all the ****s who want us to fail Someone had to be a ***t, I suppose...
ExSt Peter Saint Posted 28 February, 2009 Posted 28 February, 2009 2 wins in a row and a clean sheet. Bloody delirious!!! Why haven't we been able to do this before? Obviously having saga back has made a huge difference, but most of the others were here. Poor management up till now. Well done Wotte for realising how stupid the previous system was, even if you were part of the team who installed it.
.comsaint Posted 28 February, 2009 Posted 28 February, 2009 Fantastic win! Cardiff unbeaten in 13 CCC games before today - so it shows the magnitude of our victory. Sets us up nicely for 2 difficult away trips this week to Ipswich & Brum. Hopefully we can pick up something at both. Really really chuffed today though. Great win - and a second joyous weekend for us all in a row! Weheeey!
Iowsaintsfan Posted 28 February, 2009 Posted 28 February, 2009 Fantastic win for us! massive boost to moral for everyone, im over the moon! GET IN THERE!!!
VectisSaint Posted 28 February, 2009 Posted 28 February, 2009 Get the **** in there, this is more like it Saints, **** you to all the ****s who want us to fail Agreed, Lowe and Wilde you should be ****ing ashamed of yourselves wanting us to fail...
RoswellSaint Posted 28 February, 2009 Posted 28 February, 2009 Great win, unexpected despite last week. Sounds like a great performance - can't wait to get reports from those there. Shame that Forest and Plymouth won but good that Charlton only drew, Norwich lost. If we can keep this type of performance up, we will be ok.
saintjay77 Posted 28 February, 2009 Posted 28 February, 2009 buzzing now and will enjoy a curry night with family. Need to drag Plym and Blackpool into the relegation fight by the looks of it as all those around us (and plym today) are doing what they can to stay out of trouble. Happy chappy tonight.
mynameisthehulk Posted 28 February, 2009 Posted 28 February, 2009 Someone had to be a ***t, I suppose... And someone has to have a massive ego and thinks I am referring to him
Edmonton Saint Posted 28 February, 2009 Posted 28 February, 2009 Good Win and sounds like they played well, Hopefully we can take this form to Ipswich on Tuesday
suewhistle Posted 28 February, 2009 Posted 28 February, 2009 I've got laptop problems so logged off at 1-0 and just rebooted with my heart in my mouth, pounding away. Now for the apperitivo and me getting a game and a goal tomorrow.... Whew...
VectisSaint Posted 28 February, 2009 Posted 28 February, 2009 Tell you what (or Wotte), how crucial was that win today. Every other result, except Norwich wet against us. If we had lost today we would have been absolutely dead and buried. Can't believe some of the other scorelines...
Viking Warrior Posted 28 February, 2009 Posted 28 February, 2009 Brilliant result How many thought the worse when Mgoldrick took the penalty the pressure on him must have been immense. It must have done his self confidence a world of good to have dispatched that in front of the home fans
Belgiansaint Posted 28 February, 2009 Posted 28 February, 2009 Might be early to tell, but could this be the kick-start to the season?
buctootim Posted 28 February, 2009 Posted 28 February, 2009 Might be early to tell, but could this be the kick-start to the season? Six points in two games against promotion chasing sides? Possibly.
alkasteve Posted 28 February, 2009 Posted 28 February, 2009 Yay - another celebratory muffin in the works. Even if in the end the win was important because everyone apart from Norwich won, hopefully we can become masters of our own destiny rather than hoping another team fall to bits. Personally I think it's because I started following the match on my ipod touch via iFooty - we've won both times since
Red and White Army Posted 28 February, 2009 Posted 28 February, 2009 Still, some serious blood-letting needed at the club over the summer. Anyone know the attendance ? You couldn't help yourself could you? I knew you would be moaning, even when we've won our last two games. Get over yourself already.
Saint Matty 76 Posted 28 February, 2009 Posted 28 February, 2009 Wotte you're officially a legend, just shut up off the field.
badgerx16 Posted 28 February, 2009 Posted 28 February, 2009 Excellent result, but the next two games are now crucial, as they are both away whilst Forest and Plymouth each have 2 home games coming up, ( Norwich similarly to us have 2 away ). If we can keep within 3 points of the two teams immediately above us then the fact we would still have a game in hand may be decisive, as we then have successive home games whilst they are away. At least we are showing some spirit and today's rearguard action for the last few minutes will hopefully show that we have developed some backbone.

Personally I think it's because I started following the match on my ipod touch via iFooty - we've won both times since We are masters of our own destiny already. we have to beat Forest on the last day and get a point from our game in hand. Other than that we just need to match Forest and Norwich for the rest of the season.
Micky Posted 28 February, 2009 Posted 28 February, 2009 Back to back victories - clean sheets - good performances. Perhaps the 'fat lass' won't get to put in a performance - I hope to hell I am made to eat humble pie come the end of the season. Well done lads - keep it going.

Other than that we just need to match Forest and Norwich for the rest of the season. I'd rather win the game in hand and know that a point at Forest was enough - but better still to be 4 points clear of 22nd place by the time we get to the City Ground
SaintRobbie Posted 28 February, 2009 Posted 28 February, 2009 SO HAPPY!!! I'd love it if Wotte proved me wrong about him - now keep it up Cloggy! PLEASE PLEASE keep this run going... we have a chance again now.

I think they have to play all of the relegation candidates apart from Charlton. If the others pick up points against them they'll be down there scrapping.
badgerx16 Posted 28 February, 2009 Posted 28 February, 2009 (edited) When does the game in hand kick-in? I think it's the away game at Watford, in which case Tuesday 7th April, and we play away at Wolves that Friday afternoon. Edited 28 February, 2009 by badgerx16 wrong kick off time at Molyneux
Fan The Flames Posted 28 February, 2009 Posted 28 February, 2009 Well doen Saints, I hope this is the second in a long unbeaten run.
Window Cleaner Posted 28 February, 2009 Posted 28 February, 2009 When does the game in hand kick-in? Oh not for ages yet, it's against Watford . 7th April then
70's Mike Posted 28 February, 2009 Posted 28 February, 2009 Just home, great team performance both on and off the pitch. MOM for me was Gillett , works so hard, never backs out of a challenge or stops fighting. Team sheet must be sticking in Ruperts throat

They have also got Bristol City, Swansea, Reading, Sheff Utd, and Preston
Leicestersaint Posted 28 February, 2009 Posted 28 February, 2009 Saints were hungry, brave, diligent, determined - said the man on the radio. let's keep it going.
AndyD Posted 28 February, 2009 Posted 28 February, 2009 Sweet! Did not expect that.... Get in there!!!! A few drinkies tonight!!!
Window Cleaner Posted 28 February, 2009 Posted 28 February, 2009 They have also got Bristol City, Swansea, Reading, Sheff Utd, and Preston Like you can count on Reading nowadays.
Wes Tender Posted 28 February, 2009 Posted 28 February, 2009 It seems that either me, or my son, or both of us are jinxes on the club at home. We've stayed away for the last two home matches and we have won them both, having seen just one win at home previously this season. So what do we do? Carry on the boycott which would grow more pointless if we carry on winning, as others will return and make the boycott meaningless, or return and by our presence restore the bad luck that we bring?

Minty Posted 28 February, 2009 Posted 28 February, 2009 Been to Hedge End shopping for the past two Saturday afternoons... both times i checked the score at half time to find we were winning and then didn't check again until after full-time... am I gonna have to do this every Saturday from now on?! Well done Saints, keep it up.

Tough decision Wes, my family is split, me and the 21 year old keep going the 14 year old is staying away, but getting annoyed because we come home happy, Get back to sms is my advice, still work to get lowe and wilde out but watch the games
