Up north spiritual home, surrounded by lazy c*nts who are obviously influencing your opinions. I certainly do not read the Daily Mail btw, lol, and in fact I refuse to read that tat even though it is effectively given away for free (Metro) in London every day.

We all know northerners are lazy c*nts, this is a fact. Polish, no problem, good workers.

You win the prize of most ignorant, stupid, unknowledgeable, uninformed poster of the year.

Why would anyone want to "punish the weak"?

You can judge a people by how they treat those less fortunate than themselves IMHO.

Capitalism, Socialism, Communism andism will have those who try to take advantage for their own selfish ends, but we shouldn't praise the likes of Thatcher for increasing the numbers who fell into unemployment and homelessness solely because SHE didn't think their contribution to society and the economy was worthy. People worth is not to onlky be measured in financial terms.

She ruined a whole generation of society IMHO and we can witness the results of her actions every single day just by opening a newspper or turning on a TV. People simply do not care like they used to.

He didn't punish the weak

He said that IN THE ANIMAL KINGDOM the strong survive at the expense of the weak.

Unless, of course, you are suggesting that we are merely animals?

I can believe that of some.

If we're not animals that only leaves vegetables or minerals.;)

Your comments abhor me. What an absolute f***ing c*nt you are.

Well I can only assume you must be a lazy taking the p*ss out of the system northerner for my stated comments to abhor you. A typical northerner in fact.

Oh, and on another point, we are "merely animals", although because of the system it is the weak/chavs/lazy p*ss taking northerners and jocks who are breeding the most (in the UK at least) and whose genes will be dominant in future generations. Britain is f*cked and I for one intend to f*ck off abroad permanently at some point. Only foreigners can prevent the UK from becoming a third world country. Another fact for you.

The Thatcherite era is drawing to a close; its laissez-faire capitalism leads to massive inequalities during the upturn and f*cks everybody on the downturn, just as it did in the 20s and 30s.

I would be happy, but it's yet to be seen what direction politics will take now.

I've just woken from a dream - Thatcher & Lowe on one plane.

Up to you whether it was a happy ending or not.... (but the last thing I remember hearing was 'we haven't got enough fuel').

My biggest counter to your argument would be suggesting that she destroyed the manufacturing industry. I can only assume you slept through the 70's when we witnessed national strikes in so many different industries. She stripped the trade unions of their powers to stop forcing workers out on strike and thus allowing industry to continue. If you want to blame anyone for the decline of UK industry then look a little further back.

Oh, and if your argument is that she closed the coal mines then so what? How many other types of business would be kept going by the British Tax payer when it was losing £5 for every £1 it made?

Why do you play the idiot so much when clearly you're not?

BTW we've met so this was far from a personal attack, I was just curious.

For the record I have agreed with your assesement on this thread through and through.

I am a bit flumaxed by you now, on more than one point. I am playing the idiot yet you agree with me is the first point. The other one is scratching my head trying to think who I would know off of here. I can get it to a short list of around 4 or 5 people. Any clues?

Well...

I meant more specifically when you don't choose to make comments like 'playing Gary Glitter in the family end' (which I nearly ****ed myself with laughter at) or hammer Pearson for keeping us up (which I didn't come anywhere near ****ing myself about) then you often make good and valid arguments to the topic of conversation. Such is the case on this thread and as such I agree with your opinion.

Secondly I may have gotten this wrong but I think I have met you, through Bungle, in the Alfred before a game on a couple of occasions. If I am wrong, um, sorry.

Does this help with your flumaxation? (I realise I made that word up)

The Gary Glitter comment was a silly joke really, as was the comments about Pearson. I realise he did a good job. I suppose my point was that yes, he did keep us up but that it was still seat of the pants stuff and we never really looked like a team that had turned any brilliant corners with him.

I think you have me mixed up with someone else to be honest as I have never met Bungle.

Living in Birmingham, basically. And that ("that" being the time and expense getting to and from SMS) coupled with us being crap, has seen me giving it a miss. However on Saturday, seeing as both those prohibiting factors will not be applicable, I shall be at St Andrews.

I'd be happy to indulge in a little imbibing with you should you choose to attend.

What rubbish excuses!

Yes I will be there. Should be drinking in the Anchor from midday.
