Tac-tics Posted 26 February, 2009 Posted 26 February, 2009 Is it me but are Villa and Spuds wrong for fielding "weakened" teams? I kind of understand Villa's point of view but Spurs? Is this seen as the european mickey mouse trophy now to English clubs?

The fact that Parma got to the semi final playing a bunch of reserve players a few years ago, and Steve McClaren's Middlesbrough got to the final shows what a sh*t competition it is.
