um pahars Posted 28 February, 2009 Share Posted 28 February, 2009 Spot on. It is the old If you ain't for us your agin us arguement. The usual suspsects constantly use the Lowe Luvvie jibe to drown out any reasoned arguements and to back up their own agendas. If you are not part of the lynch party get ready to get lynched yourself. And it quite clearly cuts both ways, with posters on "both sides of the fence" very often being just as guilty as each other. For every Scooby, there's a Stanley, etc etc etc (cue Stanley going off on one again;)). The problem is that so many either fail to see it, ignore it, or only identify one part of it so that they can use it in their quest to be "proved right" on this forum. Mole Posted 28 February, 2009 Share Posted 28 February, 2009 My passion for Saints is undiminished, but I have all but given up reading here. Seeing alpine, Stanley and dumb pahars and duncan wreck every thread with anti-board vitriol time and time and time and time and time again is futile. Could you please not bracket me with the failed accountant. Thanks.

If only his nephew had been chairman of the Trust how different things could have been. Bacon sarnie all over the keyboard time LOL You never fail to live up to your reputation do you LMFAO. Being insulted by you is like being savaged by a dead sheep (in fact I reckon Geoffrey Howe is slightly more assertive and threatening;)). Having witnessed both in action it also supports my opinion that no matter how much time you spend posting on this site, and you are most prolific, no one will ever take your views seriously IMO. I hope for the sake of those around you we have a good game today as you clearly cannot role with the punches or offer up workable solutions. Given back your season ticket yet or was that just another empty gesture?
um pahars Posted 28 February, 2009 Share Posted 28 February, 2009 Having witnessed LOL. Was that the occasion in the Itchen South/Chapel corner then???? You've suddenly lost your cool, calm demeanour and have now morphed back into your Sundance Beast mode. Manji, SOG, Stanley and now the Beast. What a motley crew we have on our hands LMFAO.:smt048:rolleyes::smt048

Mole Posted 28 February, 2009 Share Posted 28 February, 2009 How many skills do you need to work in a burger bar then? Well there's chip frying skills, burger frying skills, salad tossing skills, floor mopping skills, as well technical stuff like filling up the milk shake maker. You would not believe have mentally exhausting the work is.
hughieslastminutegoal Posted 28 February, 2009 Share Posted 28 February, 2009 One of the things that annoys me most is the refusal of certain posters to recognise that just because your opinion is, "Well if Lowe goes, who is there?" then you might actually not be a Lowe Luvvie at all. Just someone wondering who will run things given that they all see rubbish at it. I know exactly what you mean. Yep, who is there? Who would run things, and how well would they do it? I just don't know. Do you? Oh no, you were wondering the same thing. I do like these meaningful/stimulating/amusing/gut-wrenching discussions. Still, back to Beatrix Potter and Piglet Bland. alpine_saint Posted 28 February, 2009 Share Posted 28 February, 2009 Poor old Alpine, you are so deluded. If someone is now drowned in negative how does that make them "happy clappy". I am not the least bit happy about this season but I am not going to slit my wrists (or make others feel that they want to after reading your posts) becuse my football club is rubbish right now. You were spouting the same cr*p when we were fighting for a play off place mate. Get over yourself and get some therapy. I have seen much football this season (but I have seen more than Alpine) Jesus, you really have a problem.
gjphilsaint Posted 28 February, 2009 Share Posted 28 February, 2009 A case in point a few posters on a wind up saying their thread should take dominance because it was started first when CLEARLY this is not true... see my latest post on there and if anyone can be bothered do the maths..http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=10298&page=
thorpie the sinner Posted 28 February, 2009 Share Posted 28 February, 2009 I have already told the mods to delete this but it keeps popping back up! I even posted on your thread to get it back up!! think yours was a good thread, but you right, most of the forum is a wind up!! I will settle for Saints hanging on mate! Red and White Army Posted 28 February, 2009 Share Posted 28 February, 2009 The final straw for me with some people was when Alpine said that he KNEW that we played crap because we lost. Never mind that I had actually been to the game but no my opinion was dismissed as rubbish just because of the final result. So many people hate him, and don't bother contributing because of him. I can't understand why the mods let him stay. The forum would be a much better place without him. I am sure he is moaning about us only winning 1-0 in some thread now, moaning how crap Wotte is and how we would have won 10-0 under Pearson. Or he might try his trick of pretending to be away for 48 hours before resuming the barrage of negativity. We don't need it him or his ill informed opinions dragging every good thread into the quagmire.

wightman35 Posted 28 February, 2009 Share Posted 28 February, 2009 Many fans I know dont visit this site as much these days. Two main reasons firstly the constant stream of Lowe/Wilde out threads dominated by the same posters with little new to contribute. A small number of posters with clear agendas who try and take over every thread to make the same point time and time again. The second point is that on the rare occassions when football is discussed the threads are dominated by people who clearly havent been near SMS let alone an away game in a long time but claim to know far more about Saints and the match than anyone who actually went to the game. A great shame really as S4E and this site in its early days were superb. Having read this thread through, I can see what you mean. Still another good win today. graymalkin33 Posted 1 March, 2009 Share Posted 1 March, 2009 I'm just thankfull that finally Alpine seems to have mastered the art of multi quote posting rather than posting 4 times in same thread consecutively... I always thought it was attention seeking but i was wrong i admit it... it was just incompetance on his part lol Anyway - keep up the good work Alps.
