Mole Posted 25 February, 2009 Share Posted 25 February, 2009 And the thread started out with someone commenting that there appeared to be a ceasefire. Oh well. Wishful thinking from Sidthesnake.
Channon's Sideburns Posted 25 February, 2009 Share Posted 25 February, 2009 Most upsetting thing is they will not let me join their group however hard I try. Rupert said I am one of the 20,000 + fans who he despises. spelling..easier to say hate. I prefer Rupes Troops....

sidthesquid Posted 26 February, 2009 Author Share Posted 26 February, 2009 Sorry the above has already been done btw I quite like Rupey's groupies - funniest thing he has ever said Also, on my optimistic ceasefire subject, the number of people who don't think we should get the rest of the season out of the way before the bloodshed starts does seem lower. Well one person mostly

Frank's cousin Posted 26 February, 2009 Share Posted 26 February, 2009 Would be nice not to have smug threads started by the Luvvies on the back of 1 win. Stanley - dont you see the illogical and one sided nature of what you said there.... all anyone has said is get behind the team... if we continue to lose and get relegated, everyone will agree that Wotte thing and the lowe thing is the reason behind this and after every defeat you and Alps will give it the full treatment. However, dont you see that if by some miracle the opposite were to happen, we go on a decent run and get enough points to stay up, by its very nature wotte will have done a Pearson and credit will be due? That is all anyone is really asking, nothing to do with supporting Lowe or otherwise, just credit where its due, and criticism in proportion... dont treally see how that is arguable. ottery st mary Posted 26 February, 2009 Share Posted 26 February, 2009 So you agree you are a skate on a windup, well done so will you now do us all a favour and disappear up your own arse never to be seen again. Do you see the irony of this..even if true about Stanley, which I doubt, then surely this should apply to the Lowey Agents, cheerleaders, Ra Ra Girls/Groupies, in some cases squaddies or ex squaddies, who, ARE NOT ON A WINDUP.. BUT A CRUSADE FOR LORD RUPERT. They have, in most cases, NO interest in football or The Mighty Saints.. but Clear intention to close down redirect, mislead or snarl up any debate on this forum, re the many shortcomings of Rupert. Interesting this little group seem quite keen to join in when it is Wildeys turn in the barrel. Now that is ironic re Rupes and his Majorettetes who needed Sir Michael to fascilitate his dream. All in my own opinion of course. If you do not want to read Stanley and his views then leave it alone. My one wish is that your group and Rupert play fair with the real fans. Please don't throw your pom poms at me it is only but an opinion of the double standards I see from this little group of yours.

1965onwards Posted 26 February, 2009 Share Posted 26 February, 2009 Saints fans have never been anything other than 100% behind the team. 1965onwards Posted 26 February, 2009 Share Posted 26 February, 2009 We anti-luvvies are obviously of a lower caste, but we have the advantage of excellent common sense. Anyone with experience of high IQ people will know that by and large they are only intelligent in a very narrow band, everything else is a complete mystery to them. That is why common sense is far more valuable, and we anti-Lowes have it in abundance.

I think you're confusing high IQ with very advanced academic level; You can find a bog cleaner with no O levels and an IQ of 150 odd and a university professor with an IQ of 120 . Academic brilliance and high IQ do not necessarily go hand in hand, but it's the exception rather than the rule. .
