hypochondriac Posted 24 February, 2009 Posted 24 February, 2009 Was thinking an accumulator on Barcelona real madrid and sporting lisbon. Thoughts?
Colinjb Posted 24 February, 2009 Posted 24 February, 2009 Thoughts? Betting is for losers. Which is why I have a fiver on Arsenal, Inter and Coventry.
Andy_Porter Posted 24 February, 2009 Posted 24 February, 2009 I really wouldn't bet against Benitez in a European tie. I'd like to know how many European games he's lost outside of the group stages, i reckon it's under 5.
Papa Shango Posted 24 February, 2009 Posted 24 February, 2009 Reckon Bayern and Liverpool with get a draw.
Window Cleaner Posted 24 February, 2009 Posted 24 February, 2009 Thoughts? Betting is for losers. Which is why I have a fiver on Arsenal, Inter and Coventry. I wouldn't bet on Arsenal. They play well but just can't score. They've not splashed the cash anywhere near enough and will pay for it, probably lose to Roma over 2 legs and that may well be the end of Wenger.
hypochondriac Posted 24 February, 2009 Author Posted 24 February, 2009 opted for athletico madrid, barcelona and manu in the end. Barca not looking good!
stevegrant Posted 24 February, 2009 Posted 24 February, 2009 I've had money on Bournemouth drawing their last two games. On Friday night, they missed a second-half penalty and lost 1-0 at Chesterfield. Tonight, they scored in the 90th minute to win 1-0 at Dagenham.

saintwarwick Posted 25 February, 2009 Posted 25 February, 2009 Those Weymouth fans were onto a winner betting on their team to take a hammering over the weekend. http://www.theterras.co.uk/website/news%202009/02%20february/Punters%20net%201m%20in%20Terras%209-0%20defeat.htm Over £1million which was unprecedented for a non league game. Missed out on that one.
hamster Posted 25 February, 2009 Posted 25 February, 2009 Those Weymouth fans were onto a winner betting on their team to take a hammering over the weekend. I remembera brilliant time on the pitch at half time, during a Saints v Weymouth pre-season friendly. I think it had something to do with teh Andy Townsend transfer.
Saint Martini Posted 25 February, 2009 Posted 25 February, 2009 There's a whole lot of losers on this thread. I think the bookies had a nice two days.
scott_saints Posted 26 February, 2009 Posted 26 February, 2009 Well I was wrong and lost the moneh. Doesn't matter though, as I won it back at the casino last night. Gotta love gambling!
Pancake Posted 26 February, 2009 Posted 26 February, 2009 lol@kaizersoze. Im pretty sure he is too young to place a bet anyway.
bungle Posted 26 February, 2009 Posted 26 February, 2009 Im pretty sure he is too young to place a bet anyway. Despite the fact he's 20 something and horribly drunk at every Saints game I see him at, right?
JohnnyFartPants Posted 26 February, 2009 Posted 26 February, 2009 Despite the fact he's 20 something and horribly drunk at every Saints game I see him at, right? Horribly drunk in a descriptive manner at how much he has drank or horribly as in a bit of a dinlo?
Pancake Posted 26 February, 2009 Posted 26 February, 2009 Despite the fact he's 20 something and horribly drunk at every Saints game I see him at, right? Bloody hell, I assumed he was about 14!
bungle Posted 26 February, 2009 Posted 26 February, 2009 Horribly drunk in a descriptive manner at how much he has drank or horribly as in a bit of a dinlo? A little from column A....
