JohnnyFartPants Posted 27 February, 2009 Share Posted 27 February, 2009 Where you a skate? I thought you were ex-army? Yes, there definately is evidence to suggest that it is students, seriously, how many working people of the same age do you see walking round dressed up in Golf clothing, having pillow fights in busy shopping centres etc? It doesn't matter where the students are, they are still c*nts. Ex RAF. I don't like sleeping in mud and I get sea sick!! Where is this evidence? The dressing up bit is a tad pointless and the pillow fight is typical student attention seeking rubbish, but while they were doing this for the crowd to watch them, I bet there were plenty of born and bred drop out local scum with half the education smashing up bus stops and generally being w@nkers. I don'tthink it is right to pigeon hole "all students" as many are doing valuable courses that will get them good qualifications. If you want to blame someone, then point the finger at Tony "Education for all" Blair.
StuRomseySaint Posted 27 February, 2009 Author Share Posted 27 February, 2009 LOL u amuse me, so by your logic, I went to uni and am therefore a mong boy regardless of what I did? So therefore (and to be consistant) you other half is also a 'mong girl' simply because she also went to uni? Nice of you to view your missus in such a glowing light. If anything I would say you have a chip on your shoulder I have no presconceptions of anyone I havnt met, there are ****s in all walks of life, but also decent people. If everyone was the same and did the same thing society would be a very boring place. I amuse you? In the last post I infuriated you.... do you have a split personality? You don't get it do you? My 'other half' went to Uni, whilst also working to fund it, didn't live in Campus, went to her local Southampton Uni and lived at home, paying the fees herself as well. She didn't lead the student lifestyle of parading round town acting the biggun, nor did she go and have a pillow fight in the town centre. There are c*nts in all walks of life, true.... probably about 5% of people that I meet 'on civvy street' I think are c*nts, about 60-70% of students I meet are c*nts. You might be one of the 30% 'decent' students Ozz, but I doubt it.
scott_saints Posted 27 February, 2009 Share Posted 27 February, 2009 Stu is always correct when it comes to voicing his opinions on students. They are all c**ts. Every single one of them.
Mr saint Posted 27 February, 2009 Share Posted 27 February, 2009 Oh and for the record, Tourism is not the biggest industry in the world lol!! Any mong can read a list of places to visit to get people to go. I think you'll find it is actually...by quite some distance. Believe it or not, I doubt the degree teaches you how to go on holiday yourself, as much as to learn how to manage other peoples holiday experience etc. There's a lot of money involved...I'm sure most people here go on holiday at least once a year. P.s. Just to clarify, I agree there are a lot of pointless courses at uni (Psychology, Sociology, Media etc. just to name a few), but I don't actually think Tourism is one those. P.p.s I do not do Travel and Tourism.
JohnnyFartPants Posted 27 February, 2009 Share Posted 27 February, 2009 Correct yes!!! If you wasted your time doing travel sh*t then yes, you are a mong boy. You don't need degree's these days unless you want a boring job like doctor etc. A boring job earning 150k a year then?

For the record yes there are students who annoy me, some courses that are pointless and in fairness the ration of 'mong students' will also depend on the area as different unis will have different courses that will breed different types of people. Southampton for example I know do ref studies and football coaching which probably does breed 'mongs'. For the record is you generalisation of students being mongs that infuriates me as u lable me as one, where Im not, its ur logic in explaining this that amuses me. (Fair play to your misses for working hard, paying her way through, but that doesnt neccisarily make her better than anyone else, just a different person with a different circumstance). JohnnyFartPants Posted 27 February, 2009 Share Posted 27 February, 2009 Yes, 150k wouldnt change a boring job to being fun  I couldn't be a doctor anyway, I'm not Asian. I do not think for one minute being a doctor would be boring. It might well be mentally too taxing for you and you realise that no matter how hard you studied for it, you would always fall short, but that is not the same thing as boring. Not all doctors are Asian, although their is an Asian phiolsophy about hard work, which rather points me back to my first comment.
JohnnyFartPants Posted 27 February, 2009 Share Posted 27 February, 2009 You would have to work constantly being stressed, Im happy with my relaxing desk job with no stress at all. I can see no undue stress to being a GP. You look at a sore ankle, then a sore head, inspect a **** and a vadge then get paid a load of bunce. Saint_Jonny Posted 27 February, 2009 Share Posted 27 February, 2009 Oooooh, check out the mighty student getting all bitter. Students are c*nts, learning Travel and Tourism does not 'better yourself' mongboy. People who lay in are wasters, students tend to lay in, which confirms them as wasters, as if we didn't know that already. Where did you get the idea that i was a student? Ive been a landscape gardener for the last 2 years, and I work ****ing hard thank you very much. I am however going to uni (better late than never) in september to do networking / programming. I wouldnt waste my time and money doing media or photography, your correct about that, at least.

saint_ed Posted 27 February, 2009 Share Posted 27 February, 2009 Yes, like football fans, but football fans don't 'live' in the said town, football is a tribal sport and can't compare it to the 30,000ish students that are staying in Southampton whilst they study, and act like complete c*nts, not respecting the City they are living in. To be fair Southampton is an absolute sh!t hole at the best of times, and thats not as a result of student behavior. It's as a result of most of the c*nts who inhabit the place from birth. Saint_Jonny Posted 27 February, 2009 Share Posted 27 February, 2009 Could that sort of thing not be learnt on the job and work yourself up? Ive looked and looked believe me, but had no luck in interviews (the few that I could get). Kept being told I wouldnt get anywhere without a degree. So sod it, i'm doing it. All id get in I.T without a degree is a low level job with graduates consistently cumming in over my head, so yer...I wanna get ahead. **** what stu says lol. All id get in I.T without a degree is a low level job with graduates consistently cumming in over my head, so yer...I wanna get ahead. **** what stu says lol. I don't believe that. I work in IT and I've met plenty of people without a degree doing well for themselves. A mate of mine left sixth form and got a full-time IT job, did a diploma part-time whilst gaining valuable experience. At the same time I was doing a full-time degree. I'm happy with what I got out of it, but my mate still has the edge on me after getting a few years head start in real industry experience. Yes, there definately is evidence to suggest that it is students, seriously, how many working people of the same age do you see walking round dressed up in Golf clothing, having pillow fights in busy shopping centres etc? I can confirm that I have seen people I knew to be locals dressed up around town having 'themed' **** ups, including wearing all the golf gear. I can also confirm however, that when I was student, a high proportion of the students I met did live up to the middle-class, traffic-cone-wielding, strut-around-the-city-like-you-grew-up-there, 'blatantly random' stereotype. Not all though.
Saint_Jonny Posted 27 February, 2009 Share Posted 27 February, 2009 Well done to your mate, sev, but thats not the experience ive had, total mission getting anywhere with just an A level in computing. Really, its way too competitive. You must know that? The amount of people walking around with degrees means people like me dont stand a chance, ive had 6 interviews and been advised to get a degree 5 times in post interview let down chats with the numptys that refused to give me a chance. At the same time, i think it'll be alot of fun, so meh, im looking forward to getting back into education after a 2 year gap of gardening boredom. saint.tom.clancy Posted 3 March, 2009 Share Posted 3 March, 2009 Books? Don't get me started on them, what a waste of time. Why read a book which will take you a couple of weeks, when you can watch the film in a couple of hours? Another example of how people waste their life away doing pointless things. Now THATS lazy. St Landrew Posted 3 March, 2009 Share Posted 3 March, 2009 Went to bed relatively early at 11.15pm last night, even though I didn't need to resurface until about 10.00am. I took a big bag of savoury flavoured crisps and a huge brandy with me, and watched a great film. Fell asleep about 30 seconds after turning everything off.
