StuRomseySaint Posted 23 February, 2009 Posted 23 February, 2009 .... should be put down. How can anyone sleep in until lunch etc, or even worse, wake up and lie in bed watching TV? Is f*cking disgusting if you ask me. What time do you get up on your mornings off? Do you agree with me that students are c*nts, as well as people who fester in bed all day. I get up between 7am and 8am on my days off. For all of you that lay in until lunch time, it works out that during my lifetime, by getting up at 7 instead of 12 on the weekends, I will spend 4 years and 9 months more than you alive, awake, enjoying my superior life.
saint_stevo Posted 23 February, 2009 Posted 23 February, 2009 you felt the need for a thread on this did you? lol. On my days off, im up about half hour after i wake up as a rule, as i like to feel different to getting up for work (dont get out of bed for work til 8.20). Weekends and days off i get up at 12 usually. NYE was 4pm and i felt a bit gross and had a dull ache in my head, probably from the copious amounts of charlie and pints of special brew more than anything though
Saints1980 Posted 23 February, 2009 Posted 23 February, 2009 All depends on if I've been drinking I suppose.
Mustapha Fag Posted 23 February, 2009 Posted 23 February, 2009 I live the life of a free agent, no alarms in my house thank you (except sundays whens its up earlyish for football at 10am)
maxi_sopez Posted 23 February, 2009 Posted 23 February, 2009 i woke up at 7:30 this morning, felt horrible like it was the middle of the night...nothing really happens in the morning im happy to start at lunch
Kadeem Hardison Posted 23 February, 2009 Posted 23 February, 2009 On my days off I stay in bed until my fifth w*nk (the Loose Women w*nk).
Julian H. Cope Posted 23 February, 2009 Posted 23 February, 2009 If I'm judging a cat show it depends on how far I have to travel.Sometimes I'm up at 4 sometimes 7. On my days off I make appearances as a celebrity double. If you would like to hire a Niki Lauda lookalike drop me a PM.£25 p.h.
maxi_sopez Posted 23 February, 2009 Posted 23 February, 2009 i draw the line when its winter and i occasionally woke up and it was getting dark, that was wrong i accept that

Seriously it's disgusting. I bet you also go sick off work ' because you've got a bit of a cold ' as well, don't you?
Um Bongo Posted 23 February, 2009 Posted 23 February, 2009 What if you work nights? For me, can vary. Latest i've gotten up has been around 2/3 i believe. Good times.
StuRomseySaint Posted 23 February, 2009 Author Posted 23 February, 2009 What if you work nights? For me, can vary. Latest i've gotten up has been around 2/3 i believe. Good times. If you work nights then generally you are a bit of a weirdo if it's by choice. When I was in the army, I used to work 12 hours on, 12 hours off, 7 days a week when stagging on in Belfast, I used to finish at 8am and I would be up for 12 each day. So I guess 12 is acceptable if you have been on nights.
maxi_sopez Posted 23 February, 2009 Posted 23 February, 2009 What happens if you dont put on an alarm and you just wake up at 1, is that your fault cos u cant force yourself to wake up

I bet you also go sick off work ' because you've got a bit of a cold ' as well, don't you? why is it disgusting? i dont go to bed til late on a thurs fri and saturday night as i am often working. if i feel like ****, i prob wouldn't go to work. but if i just feel rough, i'm there. Feel better if ya up and about rather than wallowing at home i reckon
StuRomseySaint Posted 23 February, 2009 Author Posted 23 February, 2009 What happens if you dont put on an alarm and you just wake up at 1, is that your fault cos u cant force yourself to wake up Of course that is your fault, not actually waking up before 1 is more lazy than actually choosing to not get out of bed till 1. Normally, mongs who don't wake up without an alarm are either... a) Fat b) Weed smokers c) Students d) Fat weed smoking students I am up by 7:30 every morning, don't even use an alarm.
saint_stevo Posted 23 February, 2009 Posted 23 February, 2009 What happens if you dont put on an alarm and you just wake up at 1, is that your fault cos u cant force yourself to wake up thats me at weekends my alarm is set for 12 just in case

StuRomseySaint Posted 23 February, 2009 Author Posted 23 February, 2009 im still tired tho. so i should get up early and be tired? and y is it disgusting? You should get up and embrace the day. As I said, by me simply getting around 4 hours less sleep on the weekends to you, I will actually spend almost 5 years of my life more than you, awake. enjoying life. I don't understand people who can 'wake up' and then just lie and fester in their bed, or go back to sleep, it's disgusting. Puts it into perspective eh?
saint_stevo Posted 23 February, 2009 Posted 23 February, 2009 what am i going to do between 7am-12 on a saturday or sunday anyway?!
Kadeem Hardison Posted 23 February, 2009 Posted 23 February, 2009 I would like to stay in bed with Stu all day.
maxi_sopez Posted 23 February, 2009 Posted 23 February, 2009 i respect your passion for this subject stu...maybe one day i will wake up early and embrace the day, but i doubt it will change me
saint_stevo Posted 23 February, 2009 Posted 23 February, 2009 if i had something to do early each day i would happily get up and do it. i used to play golf every sunday at 7:45 in a comp but i couldnt afford to renew my membership and my knee being ruined means i cant play golf at the moment anyway
StuRomseySaint Posted 23 February, 2009 Author Posted 23 February, 2009 what am i going to do between 7am-12 on a saturday or sunday anyway?! Here is some of the things that I have done between 7am and 12, maybe it will give you some ideas.... 1) Take the dog for a walk in the forest or the beach, if you don't have a dog, borrow one. 2) Play a round of Golf 3) Decorate the house 4) If it is a matchday, Wetherspoons opens at 9, get yourself in there for a Brekkie and Stella 5) If it is a Saturday, make sure you are bathed and ready, then settle down with a couple of newspapers and Soccer AM. There is a couple of examples to get you going, if you need any more ideas then don't hesitate to contact me.

Saying you don't get up because there is nothing to do just proves you suffer from lazyassitis
Kaiser Soze Posted 23 February, 2009 Posted 23 February, 2009 On days off I don't get up before 2pm. I had a day off the week before last and I didn't fester out of bed til 4pm, and that was only to have a fag and a cup of tea. I love it.
StuRomseySaint Posted 23 February, 2009 Author Posted 23 February, 2009 my dreams are definitely better than that sh!t I gave you a few examples, not all will suit you. I used to get up to see Holly Willoughby on Ministry of Mayhem.

StuRomseySaint Posted 23 February, 2009 Author Posted 23 February, 2009 Are you 40ish Stu? I am in my 20's ( for another 6 months )
maxi_sopez Posted 23 February, 2009 Posted 23 February, 2009 I gave you a few examples, not all will suit you. I used to get up to see Holly Willoughby on Ministry of Mayhem. yeah fair enough, but normally on friday and saturday i go to bed at 2 or 3am, should i still be getting up at 7 then in your opinion ?
Julian H. Cope Posted 23 February, 2009 Posted 23 February, 2009 Soccer AM is not worth getting up for.
saint_stevo Posted 23 February, 2009 Posted 23 February, 2009 People that smoke as soon as they get up, that is a whole new thread, that is simply, f*cking vile. Smoking in bed is more vile
StuRomseySaint Posted 23 February, 2009 Author Posted 23 February, 2009 yeah fair enough, but normally on friday and saturday i go to bed at 2 or 3am, should i still be getting up at 7 then in your opinion ? Of course, even more reason. Regardless of what time I go to bed, I am still up by 8ish at the latest on the weekend. Life is for living, not for sleeping.
saint_stevo Posted 23 February, 2009 Posted 23 February, 2009 yeah fair enough, but normally on friday and saturday i go to bed at 2 or 3am, should i still be getting up at 7 then in your opinion ? this is my issue. same for me on a thurs and then up for work fir i need to catch up on some sleep at the weekend and on days off. i have to work saturday and sunday this week, so i have booked monday and tuesday off as leave to catch up on sleep. i have nothing planned other than sleep and PS3
Kaiser Soze Posted 23 February, 2009 Posted 23 February, 2009 People that smoke as soon as they get up, that is a whole new thread, that is simply, f*cking vile. In my student days I used to smoke in bed, first thing in the morning and last thing at night. I often couldn't be arsed to reach for an ash tray so the ash and fagbut used to go in anything that was deemed appropriate, such a mug or yoghurt pot. The duvet was covered in fag burns, so much so that I ended up throwing it out. I especially enjoyed the "after sex" smoke in bed, very satisfying. Nowadays I'm far more considerate and my house is impeccable, although I still cant resist nipping out for a smoke last thing at night and first thing in the morning.
Evil Monkey Posted 23 February, 2009 Posted 23 February, 2009 You should get up and embrace the day. Arent you a season ticket holder?
maxi_sopez Posted 23 February, 2009 Posted 23 February, 2009 i embrace life at night not in the morning by going to bed late! what time stu on average do you go to bed ?
StuRomseySaint Posted 23 February, 2009 Author Posted 23 February, 2009 i embrace life at night not in the morning by going to bed late! what time stu on average do you go to bed ? It depends. Generally not before midnight. Weekends, between 1 and 2am, sometimes later if I am in town.
maxi_sopez Posted 23 February, 2009 Posted 23 February, 2009 It depends. Generally not before midnight. Weekends, between 1 and 2am, sometimes later if I am in town. oh.
ozzmeister Posted 23 February, 2009 Posted 23 February, 2009 Stu, what is your problem with students?? Lots of your threads on here just seem like irrational digs at them. Getting up at 12.00, so youve never done that in you life, uve never been hanging so bad that you just dont fancy it, or if u just want to chill after a long week and watch some telly. Granted if done everyday, every weekend or every day off then yesh that is lazy but if its for the odd selfish indulgence then fine.

Stu. Being self employed means that I don't get too many luxuries like paid days off. So when I have organised a day off, and there's nothing doing, I will just occasionally luxuriate in my laziness. Just once in a blue moon. You should try it mate. It might do you some good. You sound a little pent up and tense nowadays. Stay in bed for once, just to see what happens. Get a good book, plump up the pillows and make a whole day of it. You don't need to follow everyone else, just do your own thing. You never know where it might lead. :smt015 On average, you have 3 score years and 10. Don't always be routine. You can experience the odd day a different way. BTW, quality of life is not about how long you are awake. It's what you do with it, when you are awake. Whatever you do, if you're thoroughly enjoying it, then that's quality.

Why read a book which will take you a couple of weeks, when you can watch the film in a couple of hours? Another example of how people waste their life away doing pointless things.

Granted if done everyday, every weekend or every day off then yesh that is lazy but if its for the odd selfish indulgence then fine. I was hanging on Sunday, way too much to drink. How did I cope with it? I went to the gym, thrashed the hell out of my body, followed by 30 minutes in the steam room to get rid of the last of the alcohol from my system. That was at 8am. By 9:30 I was fresh and ready to take on the day.
Denzil Posted 23 February, 2009 Posted 23 February, 2009 I don't have a job and I am not out of bed until gone 12. When I finally get out of bed I'll have a dump and a fag and go back to bed until Jeremy Kyle comes on repeat at about half one. Usually I'm up and dressed by the time Deal or no Deal comes on. You wish you were me.
StuRomseySaint Posted 23 February, 2009 Author Posted 23 February, 2009 Denzil, I need someone to do some leafleting for me, for one of my business ventures. £7 an hour. Deal, or no deal? ( And I will f*cking check if they have been delivered, you little f*cknut )

Well bravo to you, you are obviously someone to aspire too, bet when u were at the gym ur then type who watches himself in the mirror as he lifts weights? So in your whole life uve never had a 'lie in' or have you always been the uber man. Maybe you should write a book so we can all learn to be a bit more like you hmmm?
