Lowe would not write a polite letter to his customers (sorry supporters), he would simply have them ejected. Made me laaugh though to think about people getting excited at Boro games LOL

Or maybe just close that particular section of the ground?

That is high-larious. Especially the part 'make as much noise as you want when we score.' Erm, Middlesborough rarely score at the moment...... What do they want, a replica of the Emirates!?

Sounds to me like there are some retards with drums / chav mongs who bang seats up and down at the back of the stand.

Not only should they shut up, a sterilisation and/or dispatching would not be out of order IMO.

Do you think Gibson and Lowe share the same PR company?

Your mention of Steve Gibson is strange to me because I thought that he was a model chairman and I would not, until this letter (which he must have known about), have had him in the same bracket as O.B.L.

My cousin is a lifelong Boro fan, they all revere Steve Gibson, most Saints fans detest

Lowe, a subtle difference I think most would agree.

Gibson has put his own money in, whilst Lowe has only ever been involved for financial gain.

I don't see anything wrong in the letter. Fans KNOW what this safety officer is asking for, and anyone who would take exception to it is deliberately taking exception to it.

We know that in all-seater stadiums, there will be standing occasionally when the excitement levels causes it to happen. But those very people who remain standing after others have sat down again know very well that they are stopping others from seeing the match. As to the constant noise, I think the word BANGING gives it away. That's banging on the back-boards at the top of the stadium. Our own lot used to do constantly, a few seasons back. The few that do it at the Riverside know it's wrong, yet they obviously continue to do it. It's only fans that don't want to see the point, that don't.

Jesus call yourself football fans and you see nothing wrong with that last paragraph.

Indeed, a post above from St L is a very very odd one. I have to say, that people banging on the back of stands is just incredibly annoying and crap though, rather than wrong.
