Makes Wotte's decision to take him off against Bristol and leave McG on look a bit silly as well.

 

Let's not forget if Lowe had his way, not only would Saga have not been playing yesterday, but Rudi, Euall and possibly Kelvin as well.

 

The only way we'll stay up this season is if Saga goes on the type of run he had 2 years ago. He needs to play every minute of every game remaining, and maybe he may just manage to ensure that Lowe's "policies" earlier in the season, do not end up being fatal.

You couldn't make it up could you Nick? We get three pricelss points and Alpine still manages to get in a dig in at George Burely. You know, the manager who averaged 1.54 points a game against Alpine's hero Nigel Pearson who averaged 1.14 points a game (Alpine for the record that was a massive .03 point a game more than that footballing genious Ian Branfoot).

 

No doubt if Lowe had employed Pearson he would slag him off to as it is very apparent that Alpine has a very very large chip on his shoulder about our dear leader and anyone associated with him has to be cr*p.

 

Well me dear old Alps, I know that you have made up your mind about Wotte already but let's see how he does shall we? And if we are safe before the end of the season, which would be a better performace than last year when we were safe 20 mins before the end of the season, then let's see what you have to say about Wotte then.

 

Saga is a decent player but went through a down period. I don't recall many people being particularly happy when he returned but all of a sudden, he has found his goal scoring touch again, and these Cyber Jockeys are now all wailing about how he shouldn't have gone in the first place.

he could be the one to save us...the best striker between us and our rivals by a mile IMO....

 

 

When he came back a lot of people on this site argued he was worthless, and not up to it, (but strikers above all) need confidence boosts and getting a few goals under their belt is the best medicine. James Beattie's best season when he scored 25 (?) goals, started with a goal drought of 11 GAMES.. after which there was no stopping him.

HOPEFULLY; Saga can rediscover the form he had when he first arrived on loan. His arrival was quite memorable and reminiscent of Marian Pahars first few months. Vital goals in vital matches. Now they're all vital -especially the

few 6 pointers that are left. Derby (H) Charlton (H) and Forest (A)

Let's hope Saga (& Co.) can keep up the good form from Saturday.

in a perfect hattrick all goals should be in one half,no other players scoring in between,and scored with left foot,right foot and head.

 

still,a hattrick like that one from Saga next weekend would be more than perfect for me & us,I believe !

 

and...what magnificent goals those two against Preston were. only Stern John,of our recent players,could have buried that first one..absolute class !
