chivvy1664 Posted 20 August, 2008 Posted 20 August, 2008 Who would you prefer. Saga is probably on less money. Stern John scores goals but is slow and not that mobile. Saga has scored goals but needs motivation. Im prepared to sell john and keep/get saga back.
NickG Posted 20 August, 2008 Posted 20 August, 2008 Saga lost his confidence last season, you could see it when he had goal chances he would rush or pass -almost wanting to be seen to be trying to score but hoping chance didn't fall to him for fear of failing. If he gets his confidence back he could be excellent for us again. Maybe loan period will do that.
buctootim Posted 20 August, 2008 Posted 20 August, 2008 John seems to perform whatever is going on in the background. Saga, when he is on fire is better but way too inconsistent to rely on as your main striker.
