You have twisted my post by trying to infer it was only Euell, and as such it may have been a source outside the club (maybe you were inferring Euell himself or his agent). I contend that the detail and number of players affected by this article means it could ONLY have come from within the club. As for your 5th columnist comment, I've notice that this sort of foot-stamping only comes from you when you've lost the argument regarding something negative going on at the club. At least its a very florid white flag....

I was one of the lucky 400 or so saints fans that went to deep dale in early November to see the boys fight back in the second half to win so every time we play PNE it reminds me of why i love the saints. So : If it was made up, why havent the Echo retracted it ? The players involved all use the same agent, or the agents got together to conspire against SFC ? The players all use the same bank ? We have only received fees for two players? (Safri and Davies) and all the rest have been let go on a free to get them off the books. If Euell could have found a club, I am sure that would have been extended to him. The problem will be that Euell wanted to be paid / paid up so he can still get the high salary we are paying, something he is not going to get near in the future. So Lowe was not prepared to pay him up to play for someone else, as he may be some use along the line, boo hoo

West End Saint Posted 23 February, 2009 Posted 23 February, 2009 Really enjoyed the game the boys played great first half Preston were total gash if they are 5th it just shows anyone can be beat in this league I am not going to get carried away and start thinking we will avoid the drop but if we beat Cardiff I might start to think the impossible. I thought Saga Surman Euell sajies had great games even Gillett and DMG played well I got absolutley w@nkered after the game to celebrate the win some more of the same would be welcome

The local satellite has a "Premier League on Monday show" with the current week's guest presenter in town (in this case Ian Rush) And low and behold there on the Premier League show was Saga scoring his goals... Crackers they were too and nice to see we FINALLY got talked about on a real footie show over here Same again next week please

But this issue is not just disgraceful, it is unethical and, not being an expert on employment law, may even be illegal. Do you not find it bizarre that Lowe is so Mum about financial issues and uses "disclosure" issues as an excuse for silence and to protect his precious share price, but that info like this somehow made its way out to a regional newspaper ??
