Arizona Posted 21 February, 2009 Posted 21 February, 2009 On here please. Saints Team: -------------------------------------- Davis James Perry Size Skacel Lallana Gillett Surman DMG Saga Euell -------------------------------------- Subs: Bart, Wotton, Liptak, Smith, BWP Not bad, other than the obvious. Lacks width though.
Thorpe-le-Saint Posted 21 February, 2009 Posted 21 February, 2009 That team SHOULD beat PNE on paper, but.... Be interesting to see what reaction Andrew Davies gets today...
gjphilsaint Posted 21 February, 2009 Posted 21 February, 2009 That team SHOULD beat PNE on paper, but.... ..it wont
Arizona Posted 21 February, 2009 Author Posted 21 February, 2009 Well, good start to the day already, Forest Losing 3-1 at home to Derby. It's Crouch vs Beattie at the Brittania. Come on Beatts!!
Saint Matty 76 Posted 21 February, 2009 Posted 21 February, 2009 Radio Solent doing Stoke v Portsmouth instead.
Thorpe-le-Saint Posted 21 February, 2009 Posted 21 February, 2009 Why SHOULD that team win ? Because it is actually a half decent XI we have fielded today. A few seasons ago you would have said that that team would beat PNE at home.
gjphilsaint Posted 21 February, 2009 Posted 21 February, 2009 STt Ledger might win it by a furlong or McKenna might hypnotise our defence... or ...?
Thorpe-le-Saint Posted 21 February, 2009 Posted 21 February, 2009 Radio Solent doing Stoke v Portsmouth instead. Saints must be on the MW?
Weston Super Saint Posted 21 February, 2009 Posted 21 February, 2009 Is that back to 4,3,3 or 4,3,1,2?
badgerx16 Posted 21 February, 2009 Posted 21 February, 2009 Radio Solent doing Stoke v Portsmouth instead. But it is on Radio Lancashire

Window Cleaner Posted 21 February, 2009 Posted 21 February, 2009 Because it is actually a half decent XI we have fielded today. A few seasons ago you would have said that that team would beat PNE at home. What with Gillett and Lallana in midfield? get out of here.
Saint Matty 76 Posted 21 February, 2009 Posted 21 February, 2009 And Radio Hampshire! Can't pick up Radio Hampshire anymore for some reason
Saint_clark Posted 21 February, 2009 Posted 21 February, 2009 Saganowski pulls it back for Surman, St Ledger blocks it. Euell trying to claim a penalty.
Bromley Saint Posted 21 February, 2009 Posted 21 February, 2009 Can't pick up Radio Hampshire anymore for some reason You can if you subscribe to Saints TV!
Thorpe-le-Saint Posted 21 February, 2009 Posted 21 February, 2009 What with Gillett and Lallana in midfield? get out of here. Fair point about Gillet, but Lallana is a good player 'on his day', whenever that might be. When I was at WBA last season he certainly had a good game when he came on.
Saint_clark Posted 21 February, 2009 Posted 21 February, 2009 Surman plays it in, Saga heads it just wide.
Window Cleaner Posted 21 February, 2009 Posted 21 February, 2009 Surman plays it in, Saga heads it just wide. Here we go again.
saint lard Posted 21 February, 2009 Posted 21 February, 2009 Well, good start to the day already, Forest Losing 3-1 at home to Derby. It's Crouch vs Beattie at the Brittania. Come on Beatts!! Window Cleaner Posted 21 February, 2009 Posted 21 February, 2009 Donny 1 up at Swansea Swansea are beginning to falter then.
Saints1980 Posted 21 February, 2009 Posted 21 February, 2009 Any link? http://www.mybroadbandradio.com/asx/listen.asx?station=HANTS
LGTL Posted 21 February, 2009 Posted 21 February, 2009 We always play a tad better at home in the first half it seems. I maintain we should shoot towards the northam in the 2nd half. It probably doesn't make any difference but it would seem we create more chances in the 1st half of games, well those I have been to anyway.
Plumstead_Saint Posted 21 February, 2009 Posted 21 February, 2009 we've had a couple of chances already
gjphilsaint Posted 21 February, 2009 Posted 21 February, 2009 http://www.mybroadbandradio.com/asx/listen.asx?station=HANTS cheers coming through live in kettering

Window Cleaner Posted 21 February, 2009 Posted 21 February, 2009 saints plenty of attacking spirit but as always... the final ball runs out long before any scoring opportunity... We'll lose if we don't score soon.
saint lard Posted 21 February, 2009 Posted 21 February, 2009 More from the Echo, constantly being updated.......... A heavy police presence escorted the march, which again passed without signs of violence, although there was abuse exchanged with some Preston fans outside the King Alfred pub. The demonstration, which was attended by Mary Corbett, included a short sit down protest on Kings Way, where fans shouted "Sit down if you want Lowe out." Chants of "We want Rupert out" as well as "Sack the board" and "Wilde and Lowe, time to go" were heard frequently throughout, while some of the printable messages on supporters' signs included "Lowe out" and "Rupert Lowe must go."
Thorpe-le-Saint Posted 21 February, 2009 Posted 21 February, 2009 as many as that; wow.500 schoolkids on holiday then, seeing as it was 1000 last time. I'm gald that you take comfort from the attempts of pro-active people trying to effect change in the club. You big big man you!
