Arizona Posted 21 February, 2009 Posted 21 February, 2009 On here please. Other than the usual suspects, Schneiderlin is the only absentee, after picking up 5 yellow card in the few games he has played. I would go with: - - - - - - - - Davis - - - - - - - - James - - Size - Perry - - Molyneux Lallana - Surman - Wotton - Skacel - - - - - - Saga - - BWP - - - - - -

InvictaSaint Posted 21 February, 2009 Posted 21 February, 2009 McLaggon has ruptured his left achilles according to the OS. Shame, as he has looked very positive in recent weeks. Here's wishing him a speedy recovery from what is without doubt a nasty injury.

Not ready physically or being pushed above their ability levels?
Saint_clark Posted 21 February, 2009 Posted 21 February, 2009 -----------Davis James Size Perry Skacel BWP Lallana Wotton Surman ------Saga Paterson
trousers Posted 21 February, 2009 Posted 21 February, 2009 Was watching MLT on SSN earlier. Jeff asked him for his premier league relegation predictions and he went for West Brom, Middlesborough and Bolton. Thought he might have gone for Pompey....?
Saint_clark Posted 21 February, 2009 Posted 21 February, 2009 Team just announced on the Saint, same as V Bristol City with Gillett in for Morgan and Wotton dropped for Lallana. Euell playing up front with Saga apparently. Could be good IMO, some height up front.
Iowsaintsfan Posted 21 February, 2009 Posted 21 February, 2009 - - - - - - - - Davis - - - - - - - - James - - Size - Perry - - Molyneux Surman - Euell - Wotton - Skacel - - - - - - Saga - - BWP - - - - - - Thats my team not team thats starting!
Saint_clark Posted 21 February, 2009 Posted 21 February, 2009 -----------Davis James Size Perry Skacel ---------Gillett Lallana----------Surman -------McGoldrick ------Saga ---Euell Not sure about the bench, missed it. McGoldrick has looked good in attacking midfield IMO, but once again we are playing without width.

So, er....? -------------KD------------- James--Perry--Size---Satchel McG---Gillet----Surman----Lallana -----Euell-----Saga------------ ? What a pathetic midfield. I really hope Euell is not playing up front.

We need to score first and dominate possession or we're in trouble)
Saint_clark Posted 21 February, 2009 Posted 21 February, 2009 Wotte on the Saint going on about the 4000 at Reading and how they need the fans to recreate that. "When times are bad at a club you recognise your true fans, some are being very negative and we don't need that, they need to keep their voices to themselves" Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrgggggggggggggggghhhhhh!!!!!!

"When times are bad at a club you recognise your true fans, some are being very negative and we don't need that, they need to keep their voices to themselves" Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrgggggggggggggggghhhhhh!!!!!! It is shocking what he is saying. He should not be saying these kind of things. It has really upset me. I have spent hundreds of pounds this year already following his side - so as he wants me to keep my voice to myself I will also keep my money to myself. I will not be using my voice either to cheer on the team as his wish is for me to keep it to myself. He is clueless. He is not uniting anyone - comments like this are almost like petty playground ones. It is a shambles.

I wouldn't mind him criticising the fans if it was justified and he actually KNEW what he was talking about. As it is, I am furious that he has the nerve to say ANY of this.
Yate Saint Posted 21 February, 2009 Posted 21 February, 2009 Shame about Mclaggon. He will be out for a long time now. COME ON YOU SAINTS. We can win this.
JustMike Posted 21 February, 2009 Posted 21 February, 2009 euell will play in midfield, gillet or AL will play on the wing. DMG and saga upfront
del boy Posted 21 February, 2009 Posted 21 February, 2009 they will WALK thru our midfield Sadly I think you're right - it does look extremely lightweight.
SFC Forever Posted 21 February, 2009 Posted 21 February, 2009 From this lot it looks as though Lallana and surman should be wide
gjphilsaint Posted 21 February, 2009 Posted 21 February, 2009 From this lot it looks as though Lallana and surman should be wide sadly neither is qualified enough to put on the first team shirt... lightweight youngsters!
It's There Posted 21 February, 2009 Posted 21 February, 2009 Hey, a new tactic!!- hoof and bypass midfield..doesn't matter if it's lightweight!!
Window Cleaner Posted 21 February, 2009 Posted 21 February, 2009 Noted! (Still think that midfield will get overrun though. We need to score first and dominate possession or we're in trouble) Correct, awful midfield.
1965onwards Posted 21 February, 2009 Posted 21 February, 2009 Our whole midfiled squad consists o players who can pass but not tackle,or tackle but not pass. A recipe for the disaster that has unfolded.
