bridge too far Posted 17 March, 2009 Share Posted 17 March, 2009 Take That? We don't want over-the-hill prima donners going through the motions just for cash on our pitch. Will they be selling kebabs then? They always go through the motions, I find.
Lets B Avenue Posted 17 March, 2009 Share Posted 17 March, 2009 Get The Monkees to reform. The b-side of Daydream Believer (cheer up Peter Reid) was called "Goin' Down).
ecuk268 Posted 17 March, 2009 Share Posted 17 March, 2009 Surely Dire Straights would be more appropriate. Weren't they going to team up with Chris Rea to form a new band called Dire-Rea ??

sotonjoe Posted 17 March, 2009 Share Posted 17 March, 2009 I've heard rumours of a TSW Fans Concert. It's supposed to be an x factor style talent contest thing.
hughieslastminutegoal Posted 18 March, 2009 Share Posted 18 March, 2009 Doubt if we could run to the Albion Band these days!!! For older posters do you remember the canvas target that used to get walked round the ground at Half Time? All coins thrown in went to help the band When I stood by the wall at the Milton end, most of the coins seemed to hit me on the back of the head instead of the target - though occasionally I got a bonus of a half-eaten Mars bar.
