Wotte declares war

It seems the regular army has fallen, those who were left fit enough to fight have been assimilated by our enemies'. All ground has been lost. The Resistance is all we have left.

A declaration of war at this time suggests they haven't realised we have been fighting for survival for some while. Now we have joined the war, be it some what belated, we can start to fight back.

At least he has owned up that the club have needed a good physical centre back.

He may as well not bother doing interviews if the fans on here are anything to go by.It was truthful and to the point.

To be fair though it is propoganda of the highest quality. The reality is that a lot of the players don't feel that way, they won't spill their own blood for the club if you get my meaning. To many have hidden and played when it suits them. If we lose on saturday i have no doubt i will see some of the players living it up in town or in Bournmouth just like they have been doing over the past month or so. We need a guy who will actually lay down the law and make them realise that a loss is not ok, forgeting the lessons of defeat and just repeating the same mistakes is a sign of a poor manager/coach.

He should shut up and get on with it, trying to walk the walk is a lot harder then trying to talk the talk. He can talk the talk but it is empty, it means nothing to people, if it means nothing to people does it mean anything to the players? From what i hear the answer is a clear no.

Ve shall go on to ze end, ve shall fight at St Marys,

Ve shall fight at Portman road and St Andrews,

Ve shall fight vith growing confidence and growing strength in ze air, ve shall defend our league status, vottever ze cost may be,

Ve shall fight at Bloomfield road,

ve shall fight at Vicarage road,

ve shall fight in ze black country and in ze stadium of Hillsboroguh,

we shall fight to ze last at ze City Ground;

Ve shall never surrender, and even if, vich I do not for a moment believe, zis club or a large part of it vere subjugated and relegated, zen our acadamy beyond ze forest, armed and guarded by ze gween squad, vould carry on ze struggle, until, in Wooperts good time, ze New dawn, vith all its power and might, steps forth to the rescue and ze liberation of ze old."

The club say nothing it's a bloomin' disgrace/The club say *something* it's a bloomin' disgrace personally I blame lowe/wilde/crouch.

Delete as appropriate and you've got every thread created on this site in the last 6 months, it's starting to get more depressing visiting this sight than it is checking our score on a saturday.

Come ...wheres your spirit, this site satisfies our daily lust for morose banter! :-)

Boring drivel,just like Portvliet`s rubbish..

I wish they would just shut up and concentrate on what really

matters...winning..... not writing crap to try to make fans feel all is ok

when it clearly isn`t..

Look on the bright side, he probably doesn't write it at all it is just churned out by our brilliant PR machine!

lol. Thanks for the entertainment Mr Wotte.

War?

We've got an "Italian" defence alright. It spends most of its time going the wrong way & totally disappears at the first sign of any "shot"...

A midfield that's akin to the French army during WWII. Easily over-run & barely puts up a fight...

And a strike-force that certainly has no ammunition!

War? Don't make me laugh...

He said that it took three months for him (and presumably Poortvliet) to realise that this is a physical league and that you have to be ready to compete. I guess that counts as owning up. Let's see that bit again:

The Championship is a very physical league and if you are not ready to compete then you can be in trouble. This was the big lesson of the first three months when we got beaten several times from set-pieces

Yes, truthful and to the point. Said point being that the club engaged the services of two people (and I care not one jot about their nationalities by the way) who took three months to figure out that we play in a tough, physical league and that you need players who can cope with that in order to survive. Oh, and that you have to be able to defend set-pieces.

Good old-fashioned, blunt, honest talking there then. Wotte's not to like, eh?

Yes but 3 months FFS. They could have asked any idiot off the street, on the day they took the job and he could have told them that!

The real problem is Wotte has declared war but the majority on here have surrendered. Good job the sun aint out as a lot of you would get sunburnt armpits.

Have you been to all the home games this season? What possible confidence can you have that we will be ok? We have no fighters and no spirit.

Yep except SU and SWed. The make up of the team has changed dramatically in the last few weeks. Now we have an experienced side with a sprinkling of younger players.WE have 14 games to make the points up it is not over but very close to if we keep messing up.

but its the sychonphantic stuff towards fans that gives him that role' date=' Lowe the bumbling idiot, Wilde clueless one, and Wotte the willing stooge...[/quote']

Since they're in a different camp I think Leon, Lawrie & co. deserve their own vehicle - Dad's Army perhaps??
