Whitey Grandad Posted 18 February, 2009 Posted 18 February, 2009 We will learn from the defeat Anything that we don't know already?
Bailey Posted 18 February, 2009 Posted 18 February, 2009 Saints to win 1-0 with Euell scoring the winner. Fans will have renewed optimism that we can survive, but Cardiff will quash that by beating us 2-0 the following weekend.
Secret Site Agent Posted 18 February, 2009 Posted 18 February, 2009 Aint don e this for a while Saints 1 - PNE 3 Can't be positive in these any more.
Summers Posted 18 February, 2009 Posted 18 February, 2009 Saints 2 - 1 Preston Davies will score, because all ex-saints do, unless we lump him in the first 20. Saints will break the deadlock after around 15 minutes, with Saganowski threading a lovely ball through to McGoldrick, who spanks it straight at the keeper with Schneiderlin getting the rebound, 2nd gaol will come after 65 mins and it'll come from someone like Saijes/Liptak/Lancashire/Perry at a corner. Preston will score with around 5 mins to go to leave us hanging on, but getting the win. Attendance - 17,324 Here's hoping ;-p
Saints67 Posted 18 February, 2009 Posted 18 February, 2009 I work with Preston fans and they are not confident about this game at all. They think they may get something if Wallace is fit to play (he'd be up against James) but he's very doubtful so the majority believe our bad home run will be broken (they say they always do that to teams). I predict a 3-1 home win. I need this because I milked the 2-3 away win!!!
sidthesquid Posted 18 February, 2009 Posted 18 February, 2009 We might just win to prolong the misery. It is a terrible thing - hope
broncoboy Posted 19 February, 2009 Posted 19 February, 2009 We will learn from the defeat That we are ****, that DMcG is slower than a late night dump, that Wotte looks silly, that Rupert is deranged, that we are going down

Charlie Wayman Posted 19 February, 2009 Posted 19 February, 2009 I'm past caring but 1-3 sound about right
Toadhall Saint Posted 19 February, 2009 Posted 19 February, 2009 Saints to win 1-0 with Euell scoring the winner. Personally I can't see us doing the double over 'em.

ALWAYS_SFC Posted 19 February, 2009 Posted 19 February, 2009 We are playing at home so the result is obvious...
krissyboy31 Posted 19 February, 2009 Posted 19 February, 2009 WE are playing so the result is obvious... Changed it for you!
ExSt Peter Saint Posted 19 February, 2009 Posted 19 February, 2009 I can't see us winning, but you never know. Won't make any difference in the long run if we do. 1-1 or 0-1 depending on whether Saga gets a decent chance.
benjii Posted 19 February, 2009 Posted 19 February, 2009 With Saiejs in the team we have a chance. I don't particularly expect us to win but if we play well we might. The ability is generally there but you just can't see us scoring more than the odd goal every now and again with the way we play. We need to go at this game with an attacking system and mindset and give it a go. Anything less than 4 points as a bare minimum from the next two games and we are buggered. We were actually better than I expected against Brizzle.
SAFE_SAINT Posted 21 February, 2009 Posted 21 February, 2009 (don't know why I put "Draw" after that)
david in sweden Posted 21 February, 2009 Posted 21 February, 2009 Score: Saints 0-1 Preston - Saints to dominate most of the game only for Preston to get a winner in the last 10 mins. Att: 15,325 Mmmm.....fans eh ? a quick count says only 13 of 76 replies think Saints will win, the rest.....!! thats what I call positive thinking. Try prayer instead !
St Marco Posted 21 February, 2009 Posted 21 February, 2009 I think we will win this one Said that all season and have been wrong everytime but this could be the one! I think we will win this one and then lose the next game. 3-1 to Saints, either that or a dull 0-0 So funny reading this thread looking at the predictions of people who complain about people not being positive. Funny how a few days can make them change their opinions hey
