Window Cleaner Posted 17 February, 2009 Share Posted 17 February, 2009 No he wasn't. Well Oliver is a derivation of Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens, one time Portsmouth resident and tax collector,Fagin is the character of course. Organises young chavs into a criminal band, Portsmouth was still the same then.

westmidlandsaint Posted 17 February, 2009 Share Posted 17 February, 2009 All joking apart, we all know we are in need of a striker and I dont think this is a bad move. The Glenn Hoddle Academy (GHA) has been set up to give players that have been released too early by clubs a second chance. Chris Fagan was at one time thought very highly of by the Manchester United coaches. Last week he was called up by the Republic of Ireland U'21's to face Germany. Fagan is looking for his big break back into football and is hungry and is chomping at the bit, which at the moment I think we could do with, is there any harm in trying him over McGoldrick? its not like McGoldrick is actually doing anything productive at the moment is it.
