Saints67 Posted 16 February, 2009 Posted 16 February, 2009 I wonder if this is former Man U youth forward Chris Fagan? May shed more light as this article says he's part of the Hoddle Academy http://manunitedyouth.wordpress.com/2009/02/09/fagan-shows-there-is-life-after-united/
Saint Fan CaM Posted 16 February, 2009 Posted 16 February, 2009 Cannot be any worse than McGoaldrought FFS. Give the boy a 5 year contract and tell him he will spearhead Saints promotion push to L1 in 2011.
Evil Monkey Posted 16 February, 2009 Posted 16 February, 2009 Lets hope he picks a pocket or two... I think we have enough tea leafs on the books, dont you?
ladysaint Posted 16 February, 2009 Posted 16 February, 2009 Lets hope he picks a pocket or two...[/qu LOL havent we got enough thiefs in this club already
Badger Posted 16 February, 2009 Posted 16 February, 2009 Pretty 'artful' working that reference in Pancake.
Pancake Posted 16 February, 2009 Posted 16 February, 2009 Well, I guess its better a Fagan than a Nancy up front...
hypochondriac Posted 16 February, 2009 Posted 16 February, 2009 If this is the Fagan from United then I am (Bill) syked!
smithy Posted 16 February, 2009 Posted 16 February, 2009 Oliver few more like him if he's any good. I'll get me coat.
Weston Saint Posted 16 February, 2009 Posted 16 February, 2009 Sounds like they are "reviewing, the situation"
Weston Saint Posted 16 February, 2009 Posted 16 February, 2009 What the Dickens is Fagan at Bleak House for? Hoping for Great Expectations having moved from the Old Curiosity Shop.
Gingeletiss Posted 16 February, 2009 Posted 16 February, 2009 Could be a Twist here if his first name is Oliver...
benjii Posted 16 February, 2009 Posted 16 February, 2009 (edited) Thump a whore. (don't really) Edited 16 February, 2009 by benjii

May shed more light as this article says he's part of the Hoddle Academy http://manunitedyouth.wordpress.com/2009/02/09/fagan-shows-there-is-life-after-united/ It is indeed that player, says on the OS now... hopefully he's good
Ludwig Posted 16 February, 2009 Posted 16 February, 2009 What the Dickens is Fagan at Bleak House for? Hoping for Great Expectations having moved from the Old Curiosity Shop. If only David Copperfield could work his magic on us.
smithy Posted 16 February, 2009 Posted 16 February, 2009 Defo Chris Fagan on OS now http://saintsfc.co.uk/articles/article.php?page_id=11370
saintjay77 Posted 16 February, 2009 Posted 16 February, 2009 (edited) it is the ex man u fagan too. 1st half report is up on the OS. EDIT: Only mentions Fagan 1nce int the 1st half so I guess his trial is not going as well as he may have hoped? Edited 16 February, 2009 by saintjay77
Spades Posted 16 February, 2009 Posted 16 February, 2009 0-0 at HT against the RESERVE side of a conference team, who have had a goal disallowed... oh dear
derry Posted 16 February, 2009 Posted 16 February, 2009 Must be good 0-0 half time against the reserves of the worst team in the conference.
saintjay77 Posted 16 February, 2009 Posted 16 February, 2009 0-0 at HT against the RESERVE side of a conference team, who have had a goal disallowed... oh dear to be fair the report suggests we have had plenty of chances and should have had a hatful of goals. Cant be mistaken for the 2nd string of any team other than the saints can it?
derry Posted 16 February, 2009 Posted 16 February, 2009 FFS lots of bloody should haves, we are still playing the same bloody narrow crap, what they call chances is just picking up scraps. Goals and clean sheets win matches, narrow, negative, frightened teams win bugger all as we are proving week in, week out.
ladysaint Posted 16 February, 2009 Posted 16 February, 2009 0-0 at half time, thats shocking considering 9 of our squad have had first team experience as well.
Calvin Posted 16 February, 2009 Posted 16 February, 2009 This very match just proves the standards of our first team
wild-saint Posted 16 February, 2009 Posted 16 February, 2009 It wont be long before our fans start judging performances based on teletext latest scores FFS.
Calvin Posted 16 February, 2009 Posted 16 February, 2009 It wont be long before our fans start judging performances based on teletext latest scores FFS. I blame the tea lady!
Evil Monkey Posted 16 February, 2009 Posted 16 February, 2009 did he score? 'Did we score' more importantly?
saint_stevo Posted 16 February, 2009 Posted 16 February, 2009 'Did we score' more importantly? says 2-0 on the OS, but not updated the 2nd half commentary yet http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/news/?page_id=11370
saint_stevo Posted 16 February, 2009 Posted 16 February, 2009 Gillet and Mills. Fagan off after 60mins or so
Scudamore Posted 16 February, 2009 Posted 16 February, 2009 Who's this Pulis chap with the assist for the second? Sounds like he could be handy...
JohnnyFartPants Posted 16 February, 2009 Posted 16 February, 2009 Who's this Pulis chap with the assist for the second? Sounds like he could be handy... Could it be that manager of Stoke having a swansong last few games?
Saint Martini Posted 16 February, 2009 Posted 16 February, 2009 Does Navyred still post? He used to go to reserve/youth games didn't he?
VectisSaint Posted 16 February, 2009 Posted 16 February, 2009 What the Dickens is Fagan at Bleak House for? Hoping for Great Expectations having moved from the Old Curiosity Shop. Its what happens when a club falls on Hard Times
Saint Matty 76 Posted 16 February, 2009 Posted 16 February, 2009 http://m6live.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/saints/news/4131306.Gorre_impressed_by_Liptak_display/ Oh yeah, so our new signing plays well against a Conference team's reserves. Surely worth a shot in the first team?
um pahars Posted 16 February, 2009 Posted 16 February, 2009 Let's just hope Fagan can hit the Bullseye!
Scudamore Posted 16 February, 2009 Posted 16 February, 2009 Does Navyred still post? He used to go to reserve/youth games didn't he? Sadly he said he wouldn't be posting on here anymore after some mong made a few below the belts comments about Patterson...
ladysaint Posted 17 February, 2009 Posted 17 February, 2009 A link to him scoring against Southampton http://www.youtube.com/glennhoddleacademy
jam Posted 17 February, 2009 Posted 17 February, 2009 OS report of the game... http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/news/?page_id=11370 Irish Under-21 striker Chris Fagan was also given a run-out by Dean Gorré, having been involved with former-Saints' boss Hoddle's set-up since being released by Manchester United last summer. Oh and further down the page, something of mild interest. Apparently Pulis set up Mills for the second goal... Saints were now running at full-tilt and doubled their lead in the 78th minute when Lallana found Pulis down the left. The former-Stoke man cut inside and slipped the ball through for MILLS to drill home into the bottom right corner of the net.
Victor Posted 17 February, 2009 Posted 17 February, 2009 it is the ex man u fagan too. 1st half report is up on the OS. EDIT: Only mentions Fagan 1nce int the 1st half so I guess his trial is not going as well as he may have hoped? Fagan 1nce? Not another manager trying to palm his crap son off on us?
Toomer Posted 17 February, 2009 Posted 17 February, 2009 Let's just hope Fagan can hit the Bullseye! Made I smile Steve, over the heads of many.
Pancake Posted 17 February, 2009 Posted 17 February, 2009 Made I smile Steve, over the heads of many. Did you miss the first half of this thread?
Doctoroncall Posted 17 February, 2009 Posted 17 February, 2009 Made I smile Steve, over the heads of many. woof woof!
jawillwill Posted 17 February, 2009 Posted 17 February, 2009 woof woof! This thread is confusing me. It's like people are speaking in riddles or something?
saintwarwick Posted 17 February, 2009 Posted 17 February, 2009 Does Navyred still post? He used to go to reserve/youth games didn't he? Sadly he said he wouldn't be posting on here anymore after some mong made a few below the belts comments about Patterson... Yep, his last post was in December although he was last online on the 23rd Jan so it looks like he may still be viewing without posting. Pity really as I miss his reports.
Saint_clark Posted 17 February, 2009 Posted 17 February, 2009 Sadly he said he wouldn't be posting on here anymore after some mong made a few below the belts comments about Patterson... Really? That's a bit childish, isn't it?
