Big Ron fan Posted 14 February, 2009 Posted 14 February, 2009 Not much doin and our main goalscoriner threat has been taken off. I guess we might grab a late goal? But more likely Sproule will spring out offside "trap" on the counter and make it 2-0! Oh I wish I could be upbeat.. I wish I could still get upset about it all, but I can't. Lowe has destroyed my soul.
Window Cleaner Posted 14 February, 2009 Posted 14 February, 2009 Saga, who may have taken a knock for all we know./QUOTE] Why? did he go to the pie-stand at half-time?
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 14 February, 2009 Posted 14 February, 2009 saints 2 wins in 14 CCC matches We must be patient...apparently....
saintjay77 Posted 14 February, 2009 Posted 14 February, 2009 DMG started. Mcglaggon came on for Saga, who may have taken a knock for all we know. New conspiracy theory required buddy think he meant that McG stayed on as Saga went off. Could be right about the knock but doesnt sound like McG has done anything to warrant being on the pitch ahead of Saga.
.comsaint Posted 14 February, 2009 Posted 14 February, 2009 I'm putting a tenner on McKlaggon to score an equaliser within the last couple of minutes!
Window Cleaner Posted 14 February, 2009 Posted 14 February, 2009 I'm putting a tenner on McKlaggon to score an equaliser within the last couple of minutes! fool
Ponty Posted 14 February, 2009 Posted 14 February, 2009 Argh, when independant reporters say we're playing well, yet we still can't score, you know time is running out.
Arizona Posted 14 February, 2009 Author Posted 14 February, 2009 According to SSN we're having trouble in the final 3rd at the moment. Fancy that.
Bromley Saint Posted 14 February, 2009 Posted 14 February, 2009 I'm putting a tenner he doesn't :/ fool!
Channon's Sideburns Posted 14 February, 2009 Posted 14 February, 2009 Not trying to stick up for him but would you rather his interviews go on about how rubbish we are and that we have no chance? How about... 'We have had a very frank discussion and the players are fully aware of the challenge to stay in this division as our results and league position are not good enough . We all understand that we need to score more goals. As such I have asked Mr Lowe if we can recall Mr Rasiak and Mr John.' See??? Easy if you have the balls to speak the truth instead of the 'We're as good as Bristol City even though we are at different ends of the sand timer' b o l l o c k s.
Weston Super Saint Posted 14 February, 2009 Posted 14 February, 2009 Not trying to stick up for him but would you rather his interviews go on about how rubbish we are and that we have no chance? I think I'd prefer an honest assessment of the players, game and what we can / will do to change things rather than this pie in the sky bullsh!!t we get fed.
CanadaSaint Posted 14 February, 2009 Posted 14 February, 2009 DMG started. Mcglaggon came on for Saga, who may have taken a knock for all we know. New conspiracy theory required buddy I know that - I'm talking about McGoldrick STAYING on when Saga's taken off. Yes, he might have taken a knock. Given the scoring records, it's illogical and can only be explained by something else buddy.
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 14 February, 2009 Posted 14 February, 2009 Argh, when independant reporters say we're playing well, yet we still can't score, you know time is running out. And we take our best striker off when one nil down...
Blanco Saint Posted 14 February, 2009 Posted 14 February, 2009 SO DEPRESSING - PLEASE COULD SOME ONE TURN OFF THE LIGHTS as we say goodbye to the championship. My glass is half empty.
SaintRobbie Posted 14 February, 2009 Posted 14 February, 2009 If Sagga isnt injured I am sueing for criminal negligence. Seriously though is Lowe is forcing a youth playing policy at this stage of the season in order to develop them or whatever other fantasy he has going on in his very tiny mind, I think we should write to his missus and recommend he is sectioned under the mental health act.

We can only recall players on short-term loans.

Channon's Sideburns Posted 14 February, 2009 Posted 14 February, 2009 We can only recall players on short-term loans. ooh...another example of fine business acumen.

I think he is too far on the side of talking optimistically (is that a word?) but cant complain at him for that surly? Personally I prefer the honest approach and I think we had that with WGS but he was as good with the press as he was with the players. As for asking for Rasiak and John? He can ask as much as he bloody likes it aint going to happen. Something to do with NO RECALL CLAUSE IN INITIAL LENGTH OF LOAN! Its the rules. As set by the FA.
Ponty Posted 14 February, 2009 Posted 14 February, 2009 ooh...another example of fine business acumen. FA law.
southamptonfclegend Posted 14 February, 2009 Posted 14 February, 2009 **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** we're ****ing down dead and buried
saint lard Posted 14 February, 2009 Posted 14 February, 2009 Davis up for corner, city score...we are fooked.end of.
SaintRobbie Posted 14 February, 2009 Posted 14 February, 2009 We can only recall players on short-term loans. And that is also criminally negligent on Lowe's part. An arrogant assumption that we wouldnt need Rasiak, John, Dyer (superb today for Swansea I thought) and Sagga for most of the season and failure to build in a recall clause. Inept. I feel sick.
lamanga Posted 14 February, 2009 Posted 14 February, 2009 fool! Quids in. You'll see. 2- 0 errr..... where do I collect my tenner
Window Cleaner Posted 14 February, 2009 Posted 14 February, 2009 7th (and lucky) corner?!?! Only the 9th is lucky on St Valentine's day
Plumstead_Saint Posted 14 February, 2009 Posted 14 February, 2009 2-0 . Game over then. My son just asked why the commentator [cope] sounds so happy!
NickG Posted 14 February, 2009 Posted 14 February, 2009 time to turn radio off and enjoy my family time.
Sheaf Saint Posted 14 February, 2009 Posted 14 February, 2009 That was just sooooooooooo inevitable though wasn't it?
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 14 February, 2009 Posted 14 February, 2009 2 nil.... Thats that then..... Relegation is inevitable now....
saintjay77 Posted 14 February, 2009 Posted 14 February, 2009 We can only recall players on short-term loans. Cant even do that if its in the initial loan period. 1 month loan there is no recall option. Extend it for another month and the recall option kicks in. Same goes for any length of loan. Gone for a season? no recall. Extend it and the recall option kicks in,
DG Posted 14 February, 2009 Posted 14 February, 2009 7th (and lucky) corner?!?! damn you stelling /head against brick wall smilie
Arizona Posted 14 February, 2009 Author Posted 14 February, 2009 Meh. Our goal difference is sh*te anyway, would have been more p*ssed if Kelvin hadn't gone forwards.
BotleySaint Posted 14 February, 2009 Posted 14 February, 2009 But more likely Sproule will spring out offside "trap" on the counter and make it 2-0! I hate being right. Another nil point.
saint lard Posted 14 February, 2009 Posted 14 February, 2009 2-0 . Game over then Season over,if it really ever got started
Ponty Posted 14 February, 2009 Posted 14 February, 2009 The only, tiny crumb I can take from this is that no one would have expected a win today and the guys tried right up to the end, even seeing Davis come up for the injury time corner. We are not yet playing with the broken spirit of a relegated side.
