Ponty Posted 14 February, 2009 Posted 14 February, 2009 SSN reporter at Ashton Gate saying both managers would be happy with team performances in first half, so I guess we're not playing as bad as we have done.
Ponty Posted 14 February, 2009 Posted 14 February, 2009 As an aside, Granty's forum update is working a treat.
Window Cleaner Posted 14 February, 2009 Posted 14 February, 2009 SSN reporter at Ashton Gate saying both managers would be happy with team performances in first half, so I guess we're not playing as bad as we have done. Except that they're winning and we aren't.
Arizona Posted 14 February, 2009 Author Posted 14 February, 2009 Charlton miss a pen too. They're going our way this afternoon if nothing else.
saintjay77 Posted 14 February, 2009 Posted 14 February, 2009 SSN reporter at Ashton Gate saying both managers would be happy with team performances in first half, so I guess we're not playing as bad as we have done. BBC report at half time suggested it was more even than the impression I got off here. We hit the post and had one cleared off the line and there goal was offside according to our players. KD made a few decent saves to keep us in it but didnt sound like BC was all over us thats for sure.
Window Cleaner Posted 14 February, 2009 Posted 14 February, 2009 Charlton miss a pen too. They're going our way this afternoon if nothing else. Well anyone good enough to score from a penalty these days is in the 3rd team at Man U,Man C,Chelsea,Tottenham or Liverpool.
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 14 February, 2009 Posted 14 February, 2009 BBC report at half time suggested it was more even than the impression I got off here. We hit the post and had one cleared off the line and there goal was offside according to our players. um pahars Posted 14 February, 2009 Posted 14 February, 2009 Charton miss pen... Phew!!! I would argue we need to keep Charlton below us as I think we'll have enough trouble overhauling two teams, let alone three!!!!!! Then again Plymouth are on a mare, but then again their 7/8 points advantage could be too much to claw back. We could be bottom come next week:cool:

aintforever Posted 14 February, 2009 Posted 14 February, 2009 If we can't stay above Charlton we are down regardless, it's good that plymouth are losing IMO.
um pahars Posted 14 February, 2009 Posted 14 February, 2009 Not sure if you knew but Charlton are one up despite missing pen:( Yeah, but one goal can always be pegged back. Just noticed who Charlton are playing next week, Barnsley away!!!!!!!! Arguably we could do with a draw or them winning to stop Barnsley pulling away!!!!!!
.comsaint Posted 14 February, 2009 Posted 14 February, 2009 Time for Wotte to change things a little - especially midfield. McKlaggon on for Wotton perhaps?
um pahars Posted 14 February, 2009 Posted 14 February, 2009 it's good that plymouth are losing IMO. And even better that Norwich are losing, particularly as we have a game in hand on them.
SaintRobbie Posted 14 February, 2009 Posted 14 February, 2009 SSN reporter at Ashton Gate saying both managers would be happy with team performances in first half, so I guess we're not playing as bad as we have done. ...or he's been reading Wotte's OS rubbish ......or he believes Wotte's standards are pretty low To be fair we should be drawing at least... COME ON! KEEP THE HOPE GOING SCORE DAMN IT!!!!
.comsaint Posted 14 February, 2009 Posted 14 February, 2009 F@cking Radio Solent... It's ITV all over again...
saintjay77 Posted 14 February, 2009 Posted 14 February, 2009 Time for Wotte to change things a little - especially midfield. McKlaggon on for Wotton perhaps? I know he is using the experience at a tough time but am I the only one that thinks a bit of youth should be ahead of Wotton? I know we need a bit of bite in the middle but surly Mule would be better in the middle with a young fast winger and Wotton on the bench?
RedWillie Posted 14 February, 2009 Posted 14 February, 2009 can't believe i'm here listening again hoping we can get something....Come on Saints
obelisk Posted 14 February, 2009 Posted 14 February, 2009 Can't really see the point in worrying about other teams' results too much. If Saints continue losing/drawing then it's curtains. A few wins will give us a chance. Simple as that really.
Bromley Saint Posted 14 February, 2009 Posted 14 February, 2009 Has anyone else's Saints TV commentary stopped working?
Plumstead_Saint Posted 14 February, 2009 Posted 14 February, 2009 can't believe i'm here listening again hoping we can get something....Come on Saints I know. It's like Groundhog Day Maybe this time we'll win?
Plumstead_Saint Posted 14 February, 2009 Posted 14 February, 2009 Has anyone else's Saints TV commentary stopped working? No. Fine here in Plumstead/Welling.
RedWillie Posted 14 February, 2009 Posted 14 February, 2009 What odds we keep 11 men on the pitch....?
um pahars Posted 14 February, 2009 Posted 14 February, 2009 Can't really see the point in worrying about other teams' results too much. If Saints continue losing/drawing then it's curtains. A few wins will give us a chance. Simple as that really. Totally agree, although as ling as we have a chance then other results do matter. But as you say, it all counts for nothing if we can't win (particularly at home).
Bromley Saint Posted 14 February, 2009 Posted 14 February, 2009 Comm, entary back on now. Lal;lana on for Scneiderlin
RedWillie Posted 14 February, 2009 Posted 14 February, 2009 missed the first half but see we saved penalty....have we improved, doesn't sound too bad...
