Iowsaintsfan Posted 12 February, 2009 Posted 12 February, 2009 Anybody got a picture of James Beattie celebrating with his hand to his ear at the Pompey fans at St Marys in 2003. Can't find it anywhere and am not allowed to post a new topic because I haven't paid my fiver. cheers for any help.
alpine_saint Posted 13 February, 2009 Posted 13 February, 2009 just had a sniff of info that we may be trying to loan a prem striker/striker from a prem club,no names yet. if i find out anymore i will add. Sweet. So Lowe is in panic mode, bringing in PL-level wage costs to try to save the sinking ship, so not only are we sooo relegated, we have debts as bad as if we had kept Pearson and made a good fist of this season...
Channon's Sideburns Posted 13 February, 2009 Posted 13 February, 2009 Thanks Rupert...you fvcked up our club. Before anyone starts, let's judge him on this season, the biggest disaster before anyone starts talking about Cardiff...and how good he supposedly is at running companies....hmmm and the company he keeps in the boardroom....yeah fantastic businessmen alongside him eh?

Channon's Sideburns Posted 15 February, 2009 Posted 15 February, 2009 You forget every thread is about Lowe, without him this board would die. And with him THIS CLUB WILL DIE.

Stu Man Do Posted 16 February, 2009 Posted 16 February, 2009 Marvin Emmes from Middlesborough, David Healy, Rade Price or David Connolly all from Sunderland, Tomasz Kupisz or Antoine Sibierski both from Wigan Julio Santa Cruz from Blackburn i personally would like to see Connolly or Healy here as they know how to score goals at this level Healy has been getting games for sunderland recently and Sibierski was so bad he didnt even score against us at SMS and norwich sent him back to wigan so no thanks :-p Unless the person we bring in is experienced we may as well not bother based on the loan signings we've made so far this season. What we wouldnt do for a decent Pearson signing right now!
Window Cleaner Posted 16 February, 2009 Posted 16 February, 2009 Healy has been getting games for sunderland recently and Sibierski was so bad he didnt even score against us at SMS and norwich sent him back to wigan so no thanks :-p Unless the person we bring in is experienced we may as well not bother based on the loan signings we've made so far this season. What we wouldnt do for a decent Pearson signing right now! Did Pearson sign any efficient strikers, other than Pericard that is? Strikers who score goals are at at premium, finding one who's hanging around waiting to be plucked off the peg at this stage of the season is very doubtful. We needed to sort that in the transfer window really. I just hope that one that we already have remembers where the goal is.
