Giving up your free time, making a sacrifice to make a change for the better at Southampton FC - a change that may ultimately lead to the survival of Southampton FC (not just in League 1 but in its very existance) is not a task to be taken on by anyone who is not a true fan of Southampton FC. I thoroughly applaud the organisers of this protest for their maturity, appeal for calm in difficult times and their motives. This man and his boss want to divide us into camp followers and fans who want change. There is no such thing. SFC fanbase has never been so unified as it is now. WOTTE / LOWE OUT is the message. None of us are camp followers - support the team tomorrow until there is no hope - but then protest hard. IF YOU WERE WONDERING WHETHER TO SUPPORT THE PROTEST TOMORROW OR NOT LOOK INTO WOTTE'S EYES AND MAKE YOUR DECISION. WE ARE ALL THE FANS OF SOUTHAMPTON FC AND HAVE BEEN ALL OUR LIVES AND WITH WOTTE/LOWE OUT SO MAY OUR CHILDREN. SaintRobbie Posted 20 February, 2009 Share Posted 20 February, 2009 (edited) Oh, so it's purely in your head. Thanks for clearing that up. Are you a 'real' fan Torres? I tell you why I ask. Because I know you are. I know that those on the protest are too. I know that they want to vent their frustration in a peaceful but vocal way. I know that almost all of them will then scream their heads off afterwards when Sagga scores the winner and hope for survival for another week as a result. I know that they are real fans. I will not let some puppet of Lowe dictate to me who is a real fan and who isnt. I wont let this traveller dictate to me whether I am a real fan or not. It's utterly rediculous. We need all fans not just the fantastic diehards. We need 32000 every week to now stand a chance... Will we see these fans with Lowe and Wotte? Really? NO. So we are all real fans. Just that some (who I believe are representing the vast majoirty) who are walking tomorrow to tell the world they are real fans. That's their right, and I am sure they will feel better for playing their part in the eventual removal of Lowe. SaintRobbie Posted 20 February, 2009 Share Posted 20 February, 2009 What's more... The 16 year old who organised this gives me faith in the future of the fanbase of this club. At last a budding leader. Nice to see courage and get up and go in a real fan.

NickG Posted 20 February, 2009 Share Posted 20 February, 2009 Read the intent ol' friend. Read the intent. read the full article. Patronising tone about kids (possibly culture thing) but then asking for support in the ground for the players rather than politics (at a football match? is he mad!) Gordon Mockles Posted 20 February, 2009 Share Posted 20 February, 2009 The whole organisation thing. At least, from what I can tell. I must admit I have no interest in going on any of them anyway. Then the sensible action would be to shut the f*ck up and stop irritating those that are taking a stance and those that are taking action, rather than your idiotic, berating of anyone with more character than you! VectisSaint Posted 20 February, 2009 Share Posted 20 February, 2009 The double article on the OS (two articles both saying the same thing) really winds me up. Who the hell does Wotte think he is. Patronising Dutch git with not one iota of sense of what this Club is all about. How dare he dismiss this march as something by a few kids. So a youngster is taking the lead, well good on him, but its people of all ages and persuasions supporting it. And then to say how so many players have played for this club for so long and do not want to be relegated, well guess what neither do the supporters, many of which have supported the club longer than most of the players have even been alive. There are no long term players at the cub, all are either recent acquisitions (older players and young ones), or loanees or youngsters. It comes to somthing when I suspect Surman is the most experienced outfield player (in terms of first team games for Saints). So Wotte, shut the **** up, get on with your job, and try to learn something about Southampton. Don't try to blame others for your inadequacies. The only others that are to blame are Wilde and Lowe. The sooner this 4th rate coach departs from this club the better. To the marchers tomorrow, good luck. The more pressure we can put on this gang of 3 the better. Sorry I will not be there to add my support, but will be with you in spirit.
West End Saint Posted 20 February, 2009 Share Posted 20 February, 2009 Thank god Wotte has opened his mouth and made himself look a ***t again I hope everybody gets behind the march and we get Lowe Wilde and Wotte out of OUR club for ever. Come on people lets lose the apathy get to the march and let the world see how sick of these nob ends we really are then get to the game and get behind the lads. How anyone can critisise the peacefull demonstration and then 1st class support at the game against Swansea is beyond me and shows how out of touch they are the was a large cross section of fans at the last one i hope every one who wants change gets behind it. Amesbury Saint Posted 22 February, 2009 Share Posted 22 February, 2009 And Ron - I gather the end could well be nigh, from what a little birdie told me today. Am I correct in saying the next board meeting is scheduled for next Tuesday, which would be 3 weeks after the last one? At least they have a home win to talk positively about. If Tuesday is the day for big decisions about the future of the club, lets hope LC and others are ready with their money. Perhaps someone could start a thread about whats on the agenda for Tuesdays Board meeting.
