Mole Posted 9 February, 2009 Posted 9 February, 2009 £20 for a plastic card that gives priority tickets for a 2/3rds empty stadium. Owning a membership is pointless outside the Premiership so if you're not a season ticket holder, but want to send Lowe a clear message, then boycotting memberships is another way to keep the pressure on the Lowe axis.
Saint_clark Posted 9 February, 2009 Posted 9 February, 2009 A lot of people said that last season, and then cried and stamped their feet when they didn't get tickets to the Man United game.
krissyboy31 Posted 9 February, 2009 Posted 9 February, 2009 A lot of people said that last season, and then cried and stamped their feet when they didn't get tickets to the Man United game. TBF, that was the only time this season, I thought I may have made the wrong decision in not getting a Membership. However, as soon as the club allowed ST holders to have as many tickets as they wanted, I knew that I knew enough people who are still ST holders, to be able to get hold of one. As Stanley says, £20 for no apparent gain, doesn't look to be a bargain to me (may be if they made them £30 and discounted the match tickets, they would make more sense). So boycotting Memberships is not really any hardship because I would imagine a number of fans are like me and not bothered in the first place.
