Smalls Posted 7 February, 2009 Posted 7 February, 2009 Yes, All the results today have only made our task even more unlikely. Above teams actually have games in hand which could make the margin 7 to 8 points it's really looking very bleak.

And better goal difference which means we need at least five points toovertake them...
Nexstar Posted 7 February, 2009 Posted 7 February, 2009 Still a quarter of the season left, and 45 points to play for. So i'm still staying fairly positive
saintwarwick Posted 7 February, 2009 Posted 7 February, 2009 Still a quarter of the season left, and 45 points to play for. So i'm still staying fairly positive I'm with you on this
Hamilton Saint Posted 8 February, 2009 Posted 8 February, 2009 I think you'll find that it's a four-point gap, not a 4 Point point gap.

So if Watford win their game in hand, the gap would be 5 points.
Windmill Arm 2 Posted 8 February, 2009 Posted 8 February, 2009 Its a massive ask, and there is no way our squad/manager/board is capable of dragging our sorry arses out of it. We will be playing League 1 football next season, and if you think i'm being negative, then your just not living in the real world. Can anybody seriously see this team turning it around?

We will be playing League 1 football next season, and if you think i'm being negative, then your just not living in the real world. Can anybody seriously see this team turning it around? In order to turn it around we would need to score 5 points MORE than our rivals - on top of equalling their points for the remaining games. Since we have spectacularly failed to do this so far this season with far more resources available to us, then I struggle to see how we will do it for the remaining games
70's Mike Posted 8 February, 2009 Posted 8 February, 2009 Still a quarter of the season left, and 45 points to play for. So i'm still staying fairly positive it is the word "fairly2 which is the worry
Window Cleaner Posted 8 February, 2009 Posted 8 February, 2009 I think you'll find that it's a four-point gap, not a 4 Point point gap. It's also fractionally less than a third of the season left, which is a third better again.Just now 2 good games could tip the balance for any of 5 or 6 teams. Where were you all in our Premiership days, get those Great Escape T-Shirts out and start remembering.

Perhaps everybody is just completely fed-up and exhausted of having this bolllocks season-in, season-out for most of their adult lives...
Raven on the wing Posted 8 February, 2009 Posted 8 February, 2009 May be it has to get worse before it gets better.- eg we look absolutely doomed so Rupert is ousted & the club unites for a last gasp escape bid. We can dream cant we !!
BadgerBadger Posted 8 February, 2009 Posted 8 February, 2009 I just can't see where we're going to put a run together, teams around us have reacted over the last few games and started to grind out performances - Derby, Donny, Notts Forest - we're doomed, I tell thee

Sold To The Man @ The Bar Posted 8 February, 2009 Posted 8 February, 2009 I think you'll find that it's a four-point gap, not a 4 Point point gap. I 2nd that ... sorry could not resist it
