Im sorry but I can personally say that Torbay Saint is red and white through and through. I can say this as he is my brother. Now he put this up in good faith sharing what he found, whether or not this was true or not. Now to have abuse written about him is totally way out of line. People on this forum are in my opinion are rude and cant wait to get on peoples backs. This is not what the forum is about.

 

Disagree with that.

Hi there Saints fans,

 

A Wolves fan here, I come in peace and with good wishes. Hope you dont mind me coming on here, but someone had posted a link on our Molineux Mix Forum with yours.

 

Its about a supposed newspaper article refering to Steve Morgans intentions with Southampton Football Club.

 

Both my son and I are ardent Wolves fans and we search out and absorb every grain of Wolves related info from all on line links and every edition of the Express and Star newspaper. I can assure you guys that no article refering to what Steve Morgan may or may not have in mind for your club has been published. Believe me, we would know.

 

I hope this serves to put this rumour to bed.

 

We do sincerely hope that you do get someone soon to offer the same financial support that we have received. A club with the history and reputation that yours has does not deserve to be where you are at the moment.

 

Lets hope that you manage to stay in the Championship this year, and the way Wolves have started playing lately we will be still with you.

Sorry I had to break the news about the non article, but you must not feel too bad, it was a good thread anyway and provoked some interesting views . We get the same sort of crazy rumours appearing on forums up here in Wolves. Its amazing how believable they seem at the time, maybe its because sometimes we just want to believe that they are true.

 

Anyway, I have taken up more than enough of your forums valuable space, I will leave you in peace but I will look out for you from time to time.

Its no wonder everyones got a low count on here, they get pilloried, verbally abused and sent to coventry!!!! and thats just for saying, 'Mornin saints fans, low count poster here, just wondered what you thought of Saints chances of survival this season..'

 

in the days before Lowe, we respected each other and welcomed them to the site with open arms!!

 

 

We were a family!!! Ah, Happy days!!!!!!!!!!!

to be honest thats why my post are few and far between, i like to read the forum for any good news about the saints. my love for the club is as strong as anyones on here, but i can't be bothered to squabble with someone about my point of wiew, which is what a forum is for i thought. i do enjoy most of the posters, some with good knowledge of the club, but some pick up on someone and assume everything about the people. people like ff are always providing excellent and informative posts. well i 'spect i'll be a plant now, been watching saints since my boyhood hero george o' brien and painer were performing brilliantly, fantastic days. oh and i do go too.

If I remember correctly, Saints signed Fred Kemp from Wolves. Hmmmmmm.... I can feel another conspiracy theory coming on!:)

We were kicking a ball about at the Sports centre dowmn by the tennis courts and Fred Kemp came and joined in with us , it made our day/week/year. he was with Obrien?? the little scots winge= who wouldnt join in miserable git.Fred also lodged with an old schoolfriend of the time from Shirley school.

They obviously don't realise that most of us just play along with these 'rumours' as they seem to think we were taken in by it.....double bluff... ;)

 

p.s. and they're not as good at the 'play on words' game as us....

 

They do display a good knowledge of Saints players past and present though, fair play to them. Its good to seem them taking the Mick (McCarthy) out of us, a Little bit of humour goes a long way to Ward off the Daley crying on here.
