Ponty you are also now taking on the numero uno role of number 1 cynic, is it the bad time of the month

lol, No. It's just the Echo changes its stance more often than I change my car, and that's very often. You really have to read between the lines with that paper, and I believe someone addressed that after my post.

The best thing that Wotte can do is refrain from commenting about anything but the team performance...to act as Lowes toy boy will lose him even more support.

This I've always agreed with. There is some merit in SOME of what he says but the bare fact is that none of it needs saying. Not by him anyway.

Wotte the fook is this dutch ***t on about now????????

Wotte it appears we are stuck with you, so please just shut your mouth and concentrate on producing performances to drag us out of the shyte that you have had a very large hand in, and stop being a mouthpiece for that arrogant toffee nosed w@nker upstairs.

Have you been spending too much time submerged again?

I find it fascinating how two such dissimilarly worded statements can say the same thing.

Submerged?? I'm a tank commander not a Submariner, I think you have me confused with The Dell Days. If I got submerged i would drown!

Perhaps he thought it was a fish tank.

Marvellous what these waterproof tanks can do these days

If we could have got a decent fee for Adam Lallana, we should have sold him.

His performances of late have been very poor & he looks totally dis-interested.

The money could have gone towards a proven stricker to play along side Saganowski.

McGoldrick is shocking!!

And he's not the only one considering some of the concerted defence of Lowe thats been going on on this site the Sheff Utd. game..

Who from? Nineteen canteen who is just SomeDunce reincarnated?

You're seeing some gigantic pro Lowe movement to rail against that simply isn't there.

Really ? I find some of the posting since that game to be quite nauseating and obvious.

Manager of team says he is pleased that some of his best players were not sold in the transfer window.....and then gets absolutely ripped apart by some fans for saying such a thing.

Read it again and ask yourself - what are you actually getting upset about?

What the f uc k is wrong with some people.

un fecking real isnt it

must be a funny link, sends some people to an article when he insults fans and others to an innocuous one where he says its good that he didn't lose players in the transfer window (unusual I know, most managers would never say they are pleased to keep player!)

Do you get mysterious tip-offs of pro-Lowe media articles to copy onto here, or do you spend hours searching for your beloved ?

if we do badly/deteriorate over next few games then I will not be impressed with him.

if we win then I will.

I won't right him off due to

1) being appointed by Lowe (that is a random reference as to whether you are good or crap)

2) because, probably when asked, he said he was pleased that players didn't leave in window.

no...but it seems they want him to lose though..

I think it's more a resigned sense of the inevitable. We had a chance to get a decent experienced motivational manager in to stir up the players and fans for a charge of the light brigade push, and we got Mr Chocolate. The last chance we had to rescue the season has gone and the masses know it.:(

i agree...how many times did I prey (on here) that we got billy davies...even when some said (and i quote) "I dont want that vile **** here"

TBF The fans were prepared to give JP a chance because we all wanted it to work (even though most of us didn't really believe it would) and he was a likeable, almost cartoon character. IMO there is absolutely nothing likeable about Wotte, he is tarnished from being part of JP's failed team and he has made several snide remarks about the fans. Therefore most of us have already made our mind up about him and unless he turns the results around immediately I don't think he has got a cat in hell's chance of succeeding.

BD would have been just the sort of character needed to deliver a quick fix and it's a quick fix that was needed. I'd also consider Chris Marsden could provided an instant boost to morale. Who knows whether either could cut it long term but in our situation you've not got the luxury to look past the last game of this season.
