JustMike Posted 4 February, 2009 Share Posted 4 February, 2009 (edited) just seen this on skysports news, but it got me thinking. The original incident went un-punished, yet the FA have decided to charge him. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11095_4894691,00.html Why then does Bosingwa get off with no charge at all for his blatent kick in the back? Double standards? http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11661_4888175,00.html Edited 4 February, 2009 by JustMike

Or maybe not. I've just read that report.
Papa Shango Posted 4 February, 2009 Share Posted 4 February, 2009 Apparently Bosignwa got off because the incident was spotted by the officials at the time, and you can only go back and punish people retrospectively if the incident hasn't been dealt with in the game already. For me the Bosingwa incident was more than enough to get a minimum 3 game ban and a hefty fine, i mean, come on, a blatent kick in the back? and as for the lino..well..should have gone to spec savers spring to mind

I did a similar thing in Southampton train station because it wouldn't let me have my maltesers. The police came over and said that I would be arrested if I did it again for criminal damage.
