2009-2010 ticket pricing?

By my reckoning we'd need 6,666 adults at £300 to make £2m then. I assume they'd all have to be paying upfront too & not by the pay monthly plan.

In other words 2/3's of our existing season ticket holders need to renew at £300 to avoid defaulting on the mortgage. It could be a very close run thing.

I looked at Leicester's prices as they have a similar stadium, same division etc.

For renewals "Chapel" & "Northam" are £322, up to £498 for central "Itchen".

Although thinking about it they are probably banking on being in the Championship.

they didn't have 13k crowds on their way down though. Once you have lost fans it is very very difficult to get them back even at lower prices.

And what is the current number of tickets sold ?

Nope, as per usual in that sort of calculation you've forgotten to take out the VAT. If the £300 includes VAT you'd need 7843 tickets to make up the £2 million.

I live in Cardiff at the mo, so don't have an ST. I'm looking at moving back to Southampton in the summer, largely dependent on securing a job in the current market!

If ST's were priced at £300, I'd definitely get one at just over £13 a game, that's pretty good value. If it was £350 then you're looking at £15 a game, which is a little less attractive, considering it is unlikely I would make every single home game.

To be honest I would like to know what the individual match prices are likely to be. Surely they are going to have to come down a bit. I can't see many people paying way over £20 for League 1 football. Maybe for games against the likes of Leeds, but not many.
