saints_is_the_south Posted 5 February, 2009 Share Posted 5 February, 2009 Is it easiest to go up through Clapham or through Euston? Trying to decidde which train to get on Saturday. Clapham is easiest. To get to Euston you'll have to get the tube from Waterloo over to Euston & then the train up from there where as Clapham you just get off & jump straight on another train. Ofcourse if you're wanting to head into Central London first then Euston will be yer best bet. Just worked out a group save for 4 return to Waterloo is £15.10 each, plus £6.40 return from Clapham to Watford Junction. Works out far cheaper than £36.90 return if you buy a 'Southampton to Watford' ticket.
Andy_Porter Posted 5 February, 2009 Share Posted 5 February, 2009 What about getting back, are there many trains from Watford Junction to Clapham? Cheers for the help, i'm a bit of a tard when it comes to trains and tubes.

EFM Posted 5 February, 2009 Share Posted 5 February, 2009 Is it possible to pay on the day? Chez - very ambiguous yesterday depending on which ticket office you spoke to! SFC - Yep, no problem WFC - Yep no problem if there are any away seats left STF - Plenty of tickes left WFC - SFC have 200 left and we've just sent them another 250. I didn't want to risk it in the end and have booked mine for collection. Would hate to get there and find we've sold out our section.

John D Posted 5 February, 2009 Share Posted 5 February, 2009 even more cryptic message on Saints official site at close of play thursday there are only 150 left but then it says the good news is that additional away fans can pay on the day. I don't know if that means additional to the 150 left or not anyone got any idea?
Andy_Porter Posted 5 February, 2009 Share Posted 5 February, 2009 Probably safest to just book collection from Vicarage road.

sfcjmcsfc16 Posted 6 February, 2009 Share Posted 6 February, 2009 just rang up the t/o and 100 tickets left, 2 travel left but seats are on different coaches, anyone selling 2 travel tickets from st marys will pay good price, would do a deal on 2 tickets and 2 travel but can get tickets if you dont have them ,

oldsarum Posted 6 February, 2009 Share Posted 6 February, 2009 Just spoke to my contact in ticket office (I get tickets for London saints) and was told 250 tickets returned to Watford and tickets definately available on the day Was also told there is currently inspection going on at Watford, not for pitch (which is Ok), but for stands and surrounding areas / roads to make sure they are safe for spectators
