eurosaint Posted 3 February, 2009 Posted 3 February, 2009 We can all give the reasons as to why we are now at an all time low ! What about constructive suggestions to get us out of the mire ?? For me, I would move heaven and earth to get Stern John back, I would motivate Euell and Skacel (just to tell them that they are wanted would be a good start!) and then play a more experienced blend along with some of the better youngsters ! Any ideas ??
PaulSaint Posted 3 February, 2009 Posted 3 February, 2009 I think a swinging Lowe would motivate the supporters and the team?
aintforever Posted 3 February, 2009 Posted 3 February, 2009 Sack Wotte, bring in a motivator (Dowie, Holloway or Boothroyd) and hope.
SaintRobbie Posted 3 February, 2009 Posted 3 February, 2009 All loanees back immediately. New British manager and coaches. Lowe out and Crouch in as a temporary chairman whilst we find a buyer. Selling this club - we all need to play our part.
obelisk Posted 3 February, 2009 Posted 3 February, 2009 Lowe to retire to the library with a pearl handled revolver and a bottle of whisky where he would be expected to do the decent thing.
Wes Tender Posted 3 February, 2009 Posted 3 February, 2009 Mass boycott NOW. Let's get rid of the really divisive elements running the club and then put in place the restoration plans of appointing the new manager and get right behind him and the team he picks. As soon as that happens, I'll buy a ST for a start.

Deppo Posted 3 February, 2009 Posted 3 February, 2009 Where do we go now, where do we go, oo where do we go now...
Mole Posted 3 February, 2009 Posted 3 February, 2009 League 1. Administration. And hopefully we'll soon see the back of Lowe and Wilde for ever.
Mr Saints Posted 3 February, 2009 Posted 3 February, 2009 Get rid of Wotte and the Dutch influence, if it hasn't worked so far its not going to. Get in the experienced British manager we all know we need and hope it's not too late to save us, if it is too late at least we'll have the best possible chance to bounce back at the earliest opportunity (e.g Leicester).
docker-p Posted 3 February, 2009 Posted 3 February, 2009 The only possible chance of survival is a total change in management, preferably for an English, motivating manager (didn't we recently have one of those ?) Alas for that to happen you know who would have to admit he fvcked it up. Don't hold your breath.
St Marco Posted 3 February, 2009 Posted 3 February, 2009 As others mention we need to bring back all our players who are out on loan. If we are going down we need to give it our best shot and having Rasiak,John and Dyer out will do that.
Mole Posted 3 February, 2009 Posted 3 February, 2009 Nothing is going to change, Lowe won't do this as it'd be admitting he's wrong. We're going down end of story.

If we are going down we need to give it our best shot and having Rasiak,John and Dyer out will do that. I am just hoping that even the 'head in sand' merchants running the club will consider that 'desperate times need desperate measures' and do something radical like this ! Not holding my breath, mind !!
Whitey Grandad Posted 3 February, 2009 Posted 3 February, 2009 Get in a proper manager with experience of the lower leagues. Get back all the loanees and we might just have a small chance. If nothing else, he'll have time to get to know the squad and prepare for next season.
Micky Posted 3 February, 2009 Posted 3 February, 2009 I think that all of those calling for a change of manager are probably weeing the wrong way and in danger of getting wet legs. I really can't see Lowe admitting that he has got two 'revolutionary' appointments wrong in a single season. We are going down - it is not the players fault - they were not and are not good enough, with the management that was charged to inspire them. The problem is not actually relegation - it's the fact that we will all have accepted it and believe (as we did at the start of this season) that there will then be new hope. We will believe that the manager and players will get us promoted back to the CCC. Alas, I fear with Lowe and this management - we may well leave league 1 next season - but it will be by the back door.
Pilchards Posted 3 February, 2009 Posted 3 February, 2009 Get them fitter as it was very clear we cant play two games in 3 days like others can. If Jake Thompson was one of our fittest then it says it all after he trots in last on his first beach run with Bournemouth.
Mole Posted 3 February, 2009 Posted 3 February, 2009 We're going nowhere until Lowe is gone. Wake up and smell the coffee. The bloke is bad news.
westofshannonsaint Posted 4 February, 2009 Posted 4 February, 2009 Where do we go now, where do we go, oo where do we go now... wo wo waaa...
