Never mind the first 3 games - how many points do we look like getting before the end of the season - not enough...!

Prepare for League 1 guys - coz that's where we are off to.

that is fine..

but some are already saying wotte needs to go and claiming pearson was much better..

erm.

he has the exact same start as pearson...

I know we cannot chop him after 3 games but he will not save us - he was part of a dutch failure that was the problem not the solution.

A 'fresh' manager might have changed our fortunes like Forest, Norwich & Watford (although they have slumped down a little).

...and from a worse position, a team which had forgotten how to score and how to win at home. So far Wotte has fixed one of the two. Lets see how he does with the other. I'm convinced we'll be okay. Three wins would transform things.

why not..if I remember rightly he was appointed 2 days before the game..?

and pearson only got 4 points out of his first 15/18 available..

YET he was afforded far mroe time by some on here..

I thought it was one. Whatever, considering Wotte has been watching over these players since early summer, that's just plain f**king ridiculous a comparison.

it is also plain and ****ing ridiculous to want him out already, when he ahs the exact same number of points to the manager that gets brought up time and time again..

that manager only got 4 points from his first 15/18 available..i will predict here and now that this place will be flooded with anti-wotte posts if that is the case this season by saint robbie and the like (who have already started)

that is farking ludacris

Wotte is doing exactly as i knew he would.

He's as ****ing useless and Portvliet and he's going to take us down.

THankyou very much Rupert Lowe and Michael Wilde for destroying Southampton Football Club.

I dont want him in the first place. Is he picking the team or lowe? Pearson had a top chairman and board behind him and people to give him advice like lawrie mac, not lowe. Leicester won 4-1 away tonight and are 14 points clear of third place, they are basically up. I think that just shows what a massive **** up lowe has made. Pearson was brought in to keep us up and he did it. He was such a likeable character and united everyone. I think pearson will end up a top manager in the premier league, top manager, top bloke. Wotte has been part of it all season, stabbing jan in the back. He knows what we have, pearson was from the outside. Dell days stop barking up the wrong tree, lowe needs to go now.

this is it..anyone who dares question the popular thought on here must be a fan of lowe..where have I said he should stay..?

I dont buy into pearson being "brilliant" for having leicester where they are..totally different circumstances..

on another note, why is pearson not in a higher league and had to go down to league 1..?

holloway won that league with far less to use...

Pearson's first manager job full time was with us. I dont know what your'e agenda is. We have to keep wotte no I agree but dont moan at people for having a go at the moment when the club is where it is now. Believe me pearson will go a long way as a manager, the premier league I reckon

Pearson had a bigger cushion, more settled squad and fairly united fanbase.

But it is only 3 games....

Fairly settled squad, the team were in free fall, as for a united fan base, yes I agree, I have been saying this for ages. We had a united fan base under Pearson and Crouch, how things have changed!

Best and most embarrasing thing i heard all day was the swing lowe chants after they scored. Was he really to blame for their second goal or should he'd have netted for us earlier?

Everythings his fault isn't it.

He was manager of Carlisle in the fourth division way back in 1999 back when George Burley was powering up to fourth in the Premier League.

And then didn't get a managers job anywhere for eight years until his best mate's dad got him a nice little number at St Mary's.

I thought the popular thought on here was to give Wotte the F#ck time. I don't know what you got against Pearson he kept us up something I hope Wotte TF does as well.

Forest found it hard to come back up from league 1 and Leeds are still down there, so I wouldn't dismiss what Pearson is doing lightly.

Yes but did holloway WIN that league? And there was me thinking QPR went up in the play offs. He wasnt there when plymouth won the league, that was Sturrock and then Williamson. So kind of ****s on your argument a bit

But you are either in the inner circle of managers or you are out, thats why the same failed managers go round and round clubs and others are always left knocking on the door. You need a break to get into football management and Pearson is making the most of his, doing quite well last time I looked.

Oh grow up Thedelldays, go to a game mate and watch whats going on then come on here and make comments about how we are playing and the managers and your criticism of the fans.

I mean, Jesus Christ the highlights haven't even been on the tv yet, so how can you criticize fans for questioning Wotte?

Check the match report for the Plymouth game. It says Pearson was 'nominally' in charge, but the team had already been picked by someone in the previous regime.

Whereas Pearson took over a team which was flying high and scoring for fun after suffering their 5th defeat in a row at the hands of the mighty Bristol Rovers. That guy had it on a plate.

And yes three wins would change things. As would Chuck Norris roundhouse kicking Lowe into another dimension, Saints signing Kaka or Paul Allen wandering into town.

Weirdly enough, that is exactly the argument Lowe has used for breaking out of the cabal of the same old same old.

Look out Premier League here come the super managers

Martinez - maybe manage in the Prem one day

Nigel Adkins - well...

Steve Tilson - um....

Mike Newell - currently at Grimsby....

Paul Sturrock - well I like him but unlikely to trouble the Prem any time soon.

Paul Jewell - okay, we have one.

Peter Taylor - cast iron Premier League fu ck up.

Dennis Wise - arf.

Let's not expect any of these managers to be sweeping into White Hart Lane or Eastlands any time soon.....

Let's not get carried away that winning League one is some passport to managerial mega stardom.

No-one is knocking what Pearson achieved, just saying give Wotte the same breaks.

Funny, the only thing some on here have against Crouch is that he didn't act quick enough in sacking Dodd and Gorman, they lasted 7 games, jan lasted 28 games, seems the anti-Lowe brigade are far more likely to give someone a chance. Also it was also 28 games before we heard an anti-lowe song @ SMS!

How can you ignore Wotte's involvement with the team since pre-season. It is a completely different situation. I dont think Pearson is some demi-god, but Wotte & JP are one in the same IMHO.

I say don't give him the same breaks, Wotte's been scrotum deep in this pile of crap from day 1.

Get him out now, get someone in who has a least a semi decent record in this country.

There are lots of people knocking Pearson including you.

But Wotte has already said that he has been here since June and knows the players really well.

He has also tried to take credit for decisons made at the start of the season.

Well lets get him out too then. And Lowe, Wilde, Crouch, Corbett, McMenemy, the execs, Burley, Dodd, Gorman, Redknapp, BWP, Dyer, Kelvin Davis, Ricardo Fuller, Delap, Oakley and anyone else we can think of. Its all worked for us so well before.

Good for you. But hes mouthed off about the fans AND failed to deliver. You cannot expect everyone to see it like you.
