Dannyboy_Saint Posted 3 February, 2009 Posted 3 February, 2009 1-0 to Saints Scrappy game with probably about 5 chances all night and Saga's finishing will prove the difference.
Lowestoft-Saint Posted 3 February, 2009 Posted 3 February, 2009 3-1 to saints with saga scoring a hatrick.... Also saga to go on a crazy goalscoring run to come close to be Top scorer in the league and push us well up the table to safety.... Optimistic or just crazy ?
ozzmeister Posted 3 February, 2009 Posted 3 February, 2009 2-0 Saints, Hopefully Woote will have us trainign on the pitch well before the game starts so we can get used to the condition. I hope were more up for it and Sheff shrink in the cold, lack of support and no Betty. Oh and scorers - Saga and an OG
saints_is_the_south Posted 3 February, 2009 Posted 3 February, 2009 heart says 2-1 saints, head says 3-1 sheff utd.
Windmill Arm 2 Posted 3 February, 2009 Posted 3 February, 2009 Saints 1-2 Sheff United After all the premature euphoria of two draws, we will lose.
(not THE) Kevin Moore Posted 3 February, 2009 Posted 3 February, 2009 3-2 Saints with Stern getting a brace then getting sent off, Saga to score the other...... or something like that. What a waste of my last post of the day.... sheeesh.
Tom28 Posted 3 February, 2009 Posted 3 February, 2009 Will be really tough tonight, Sheff Utd are unbeaten in their last 10 away from home (9 league games). I think a draw would be a good result. If we go with experience tonight - Euell, Wotton in the centre of midfield, Surman and Skacel down the left, some width and pace on the right with McLaggon (courtesy of saintwarwick) and if I had my way, Schneiderlin at right back, I could see us getting a result. Head says 1-1, heart says 4-1 saints!
thorpie the sinner Posted 3 February, 2009 Posted 3 February, 2009 A treacherous 1-0 Saints with Golden boy scoring!!!
Appy Posted 3 February, 2009 Posted 3 February, 2009 A treacherous 1-0 Saints with Golden boy scoring!!! De La Hoya?
Saint Martini Posted 3 February, 2009 Posted 3 February, 2009 De La Hoya? DMG, who else? I'm going for a 2-1 to Saints. Saga and Lallana scopring.
sperm_john Posted 3 February, 2009 Posted 3 February, 2009 i predict a convincing saints win, something like 2-0, 2-1, or 3-0 (yes i know thats quite a few predictions) lol
trousers Posted 3 February, 2009 Posted 3 February, 2009 4-0 to Saints (due to a travel-weary Sheff Utd) Saga hat trick
Um Bongo Posted 3 February, 2009 Posted 3 February, 2009 2-1 Southampton. Saga, Surman for us. Henderson for Sheff Utd.
Thedelldays Posted 3 February, 2009 Posted 3 February, 2009 2-1 to saints. we will win this one wotte will have (so far) a much better start to his saints career than god (sorry, pearson) and some fans will still want him out so far
Arizona Posted 3 February, 2009 Posted 3 February, 2009 After a promisingish start to Wotte's management, a 3-1 defeat. DMG to score.
Professor Posted 3 February, 2009 Posted 3 February, 2009 Saints 2-0. A home win to begin the recovery. But Tom28 mentioned he'd like to see Skacel on the left. I wonder if Rudi will play tonight as Wotte says he picked the side on Sunday - at which point Rudi was potentially on his way out. With Molyneux suspended who was left back in that provisional selection and if it was Surman, who is being dropped from midfield if Rudi does play in defence?
Whitey Grandad Posted 3 February, 2009 Posted 3 February, 2009 Let me see.... I'd give Sheffield Utd a probability of 1.4 goals and us about the same, so it's all down to how well the two defences play on the night. I'll plump for 1-1.
SFC Forever Posted 3 February, 2009 Posted 3 February, 2009 I'm going with my heart and calling for a 2-1 home win.
Stax Posted 3 February, 2009 Posted 3 February, 2009 Looking at the form table Shef utd are in 7th, but Swansea are in 4th we drew with swansea with ten men, so i think a 2-1 win. But my head says a draw. On the bright side Derby Norwich Palace Plymouth Charlton Watford Barnsley & Burnly are beneath us in the form table, in that order so keep believing!!
um pahars Posted 3 February, 2009 Posted 3 February, 2009 An up and at 'em 2-1 win. Down to 10 men when Wotton walks int he 84th minute.
GeckoSaint Posted 3 February, 2009 Posted 3 February, 2009 Of course Darius Henderson is gonna score against us. Obviously I'd love the win but I reckon it's gonna be another scored draw.
Saint_Jonny Posted 3 February, 2009 Posted 3 February, 2009 Darius Henderson....****. Forgot about him. Hes ruind my day on too many ocasions. I reckon SAINTS 2 - 1 BLADES, Saints cummin from behind, Saga to net the winner. COYR
Thedelldays Posted 3 February, 2009 Posted 3 February, 2009 what was pearsons first 3 games..results wise..?
Nexstar Posted 3 February, 2009 Posted 3 February, 2009 what was pearsons first 3 games..results wise..? Loss Draw Draw
corsacar saint Posted 3 February, 2009 Posted 3 February, 2009 0-1, Hope I am wrong. [ I thought we would beat Swansea, but do not unfortunately see us getting anything tonight].
chocco boxo Posted 3 February, 2009 Posted 3 February, 2009 3-3 as I bet it saturday and cant get to bookies now!
spain saint Posted 3 February, 2009 Posted 3 February, 2009 0-0 I think the players will be cold and therefore quite a boring game! (although hope i am wrong and it is 3-0 saints) COYR
Um Bongo Posted 3 February, 2009 Posted 3 February, 2009 Brian Howard also plays for Sheffield Utd - Chances of him scoring go up.
jam Posted 3 February, 2009 Posted 3 February, 2009 An up and at 'em 2-1 win. Down to 10 men when Wotton walks int he 84th minute. Could this be a new thread? Player sent off, time and offence? The way this season is going I reckon there could be sport in this! Oh and 2-1 Saints, tense last ten minutes.
SaintRobbie Posted 3 February, 2009 Posted 3 February, 2009 1-1 Drawmeister Wotte-Wigley strikes again!
ottery st mary Posted 3 February, 2009 Posted 3 February, 2009 3-3 to the mighty Saints..Oh! and to the blades. Brian Howard is bound to score for Sheff. Likewise Loopyloo. Come on Saga more of the same. COYR
