There's nothing wrong with playing footie in snow - you just use an orange ball, didn't Matt Le Tiss bang in a hatrick against Liverpool when it was ****ing it down?

Sure did...it was bl**dy cold that night if I remember rightly. It was valantines night & Matty scorred after about 30seconds :p & even more amazingly Craig Maskell scored :o

I remember it was so cold a pipe burst above the East stand terrace showering everyone with cold water :smt088

It's **** easy to drive in it as well, this country is full of pussys, just get on with the game FFS.

I don't have a problem driving in inclement weather or watching the game in snow, more to do with driving to a game that has been postponed (Palace a few seasons ago) after making the journey. I'd prefer to know before hand whether the game is on or not.

I remember this as it was Valentines day and I had to leave my g/f (now wife) in Leeds to drive down to see the game - the snow was with me all the way and I just managed to get ahead of it in Newbury - parked outside the dell at 3.59, ran into the Milton, said hello to my mates as the whistle went, turned around just in time to see MLT bang one in on 14 seconds or whatever it was.

We were 4-0 up I think, the orange ball put Liverpool on the front foot though.
