N/West Saint Posted 1 February, 2009 Posted 1 February, 2009 Did Wild manage to turn up to face the fans?
rocknrollman no2 Posted 1 February, 2009 Posted 1 February, 2009 I doubt that gutless wonder was anywhere near SMS today. I bet he had another family engagement he couldnt get out of.
Bailey Posted 1 February, 2009 Posted 1 February, 2009 Yep, he was there. Have to say I was quite surprised to see him too.
Bailey Posted 1 February, 2009 Posted 1 February, 2009 Ooh forgot to say, there was no sign of Kim van der Waals though!
Iowsaintsfan Posted 1 February, 2009 Posted 1 February, 2009 lol if you put the 2 together you have kim wilde!
N/West Saint Posted 1 February, 2009 Author Posted 1 February, 2009 Ooh forgot to say, there was no sign of Kim van der Waals though! Must be on the slopes with Rupert (Getting used to being on the downhill slide)
Dannyboy_Saint Posted 1 February, 2009 Posted 1 February, 2009 Yep he was there. Didnt hang round long though, he was at the airport 40 mins after the game had ended.
SaintRobbie Posted 1 February, 2009 Posted 1 February, 2009 Ooh forgot to say, there was no sign of Kim van der Waals though! He comes as a package with Lowe not Wilde. Important to note that.
SaintRobbie Posted 1 February, 2009 Posted 1 February, 2009 lol if you put the 2 together you have kim wilde! 'Set me free why don't ya babe...get outta my life why don't ya babe... cos you dont really love me... ya just keep me hanging on' Kim Wilde. Irony.
saint_stevo Posted 1 February, 2009 Posted 1 February, 2009 this is worth a read, not sure how i stumbled across it though! http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/s/southampton/3489097.stm

beatlesaint Posted 1 February, 2009 Posted 1 February, 2009 I see Guy Askham has weedled his slimey looking mug back into the Directors box then !! Pity the tight fisted old git is still wearing one of the old "Pony" benchcoats from years ago !!!!! I also love the fact that Lawrie and Leon corporate box is right behind the Lowe and Wilde seats ! Get a sniper in Leon....NOW !!

Get a sniper in Leon....NOW !! i personally would liked to have seen more of the protest outside sms yesterday amed at Askham, Richards, Withers and Windsor-Clive because they, imo, will crack before Rupert and it only takes a small split and they will fall apart
saint_stevo Posted 1 February, 2009 Posted 1 February, 2009 sod the football, who is the hotty on the far right?
um pahars Posted 1 February, 2009 Posted 1 February, 2009 Leon corporate box is right behind the Lowe and Wilde seats ! Get a sniper in Leon....NOW !! A sniper????? I think an M73 frag grenade would be a better bet!!! Cue the drama queens, bed wetters and sanctimonious on here frothing at the mouth.

beatlesaint Posted 1 February, 2009 Posted 1 February, 2009 i personally would liked to have seen more of the protest outside sms yesterday amed at Askham' date=' Richards, Withers and Windsor-Clive because they, imo, will crack before Rupert and it only takes a small split and they will fall apart[/quote'] Couldnt agree more Mike, they are the weak, easily led like lambs to the slaughter types that Lowe has wrapped round his little finger, they wouldnt take too much to crack, especially if they are aware, as seems to be pretty much common knowledge, that Cowen has had enough.
Delmary Posted 1 February, 2009 Posted 1 February, 2009 Just before kick-off - wouldn't come out!!! but did take his seat as they kicked off. celebrations after the first goalThe two guys next to Jones look like administrators?
sadoldgit Posted 1 February, 2009 Posted 1 February, 2009 sod the football, who is the hotty on the far right? Thinking that myself. If Lowe has any sense she gives him "advice"!!! Just wondering, if Lowe went to the trouble of taking down LMs picture, why is that sign for Lean and Lawrie still up?
alpine_saint Posted 1 February, 2009 Posted 1 February, 2009 Jesus, those photos read like a spare priick convention. How Askham has the balls to show his face at SMS, I will never know.
spyinthesky Posted 1 February, 2009 Posted 1 February, 2009 Was actually in the Corporates and heard our Director of Football discussing the protests and 'death threat' (which came from a Soton Internet Cafe.) He seemed most worried about his offspring who have taken some flak on the matter. As I have mentioned in another post, it must be very difficult for family members and you have to feel sorry if the sins of fathers are visited on their sons. Also heard some (unsubstantiated) rumours about one of the management team which might bring further bad publicity for the club if proved to be true.
Window Cleaner Posted 1 February, 2009 Posted 1 February, 2009 'Set me free why don't ya babe...get outta my life why don't ya babe... cos you dont really love me... ya just keep me hanging on' Kim Wilde. Irony. How can Kim Wilde sing Motown?? Probably completely butchered it. Holland Dozier and Holland is to be sung by African Americans. ie Diana Ross and the Supremes
spyinthesky Posted 1 February, 2009 Posted 1 February, 2009 Off topic I know but Kim Wilde might have been pleasing on the eye when being offered up as a chanteuse (before her green finger conversion) but even the best studio technicians couldnt hide the number of bum notes she used to sing especially in 'Kids in America' (if that was the song title)

Makes a change from the dreadful litanic dirges being wheeled out time after time about protests, chairmen, coaches etc,

Window Cleaner Posted 1 February, 2009 Posted 1 February, 2009 The two guys next to Jones look like administrators? They look like shop stewards from the docks to me.:(
Gingeletiss Posted 1 February, 2009 Posted 1 February, 2009 They look like shop stewards from the docks to me.:( Nah.......don't know them.
miserableoldgit Posted 1 February, 2009 Posted 1 February, 2009 How can Kim Wilde sing Motown?? Probably completely butchered it. Holland Dozier and Holland is to be sung by African Americans. ie Diana Ross and the Supremes What about "Vanilla Fudge"?
Window Cleaner Posted 1 February, 2009 Posted 1 February, 2009 What about "Vanilla Fudge"? Nah ,Diana Ross+The Supremes is the only valid version. All the rest is just karaoke hopefuls.
Badger Posted 1 February, 2009 Posted 1 February, 2009 sod the football, who is the hotty on the far right? Half time (entertainment) floor show in corporate.Possibly a lesbo-combo with one of the blonds towards the back in photo one. Or perhaps they were "guests" of David Pleat.
Badger Posted 1 February, 2009 Posted 1 February, 2009 Also heard some (unsubstantiated) rumours about one of the management team which might bring further bad publicity for the club if proved to be true. Is this a former/currently injured centre half,as this rumour was posted a week or so ago ?
Window Cleaner Posted 1 February, 2009 Posted 1 February, 2009 Is this a former/currently injured centre half,as this rumour was posted a week or so ago ? But he's just a coach, nothing to do with the management .

And which one of the management team did you hear the rumours about, was it Kim Van Der Waals???
Badger Posted 1 February, 2009 Posted 1 February, 2009 But he's just a coach, nothing to do with the management . Fair point and an important distinction. So,who is it,and what is the rumour ?
um pahars Posted 1 February, 2009 Posted 1 February, 2009 Is this a former/currently injured centre half,as this rumour was posted a week or so ago ? I must have missed that one as well!!! What was that rumour then?????
