Bailey Posted 31 January, 2009 Posted 31 January, 2009 The fans were top draw today. It was always going to be a good atmosphere with Swansea selling out their allocation, but the Northam lot were particularly vocal and got right behind the boys from start to finish. What with the planned protests and all, I had feared the atmosphere could turn quite hostile if we went behind, but it was good to see everyone showing their support during the game and getting right behind the team. The protests were a success and our point was well made, but most importantly, during the game we supported the team and showed them that we care. I thought the fans were a credit to the club today, fair play to everyone.
Um Bongo Posted 31 January, 2009 Posted 31 January, 2009 There was one point, think it was second half, when OWTS was being sung slowly and the whole Northam got it right.... Sounded Awesome.
sperm_john Posted 31 January, 2009 Posted 31 January, 2009 was there a chorus of 'only one nathan dyer' if so, was it saints + swansea? i wasnt there you see and thought this would be quite poignant...

GeckoSaint Posted 1 February, 2009 Posted 1 February, 2009 I'm not going to lie, this seson has been an absolute struggle for us Saints fans. But today rekindled my love for my club. If the same passion is shown by both players & fans till the end of the season, we just may get ourselves out of trouble. See you Tuesday night for more of the same!!
Bailey Posted 1 February, 2009 Author Posted 1 February, 2009 Agree with Gecko completely. Lets hope for more of the same! Great picture too!
