Anyone from Lymington that can recommend a cheap B&B for 8 - 10 men sharing. Also good places for steak & chips and a few pints??

However there is a nice pub (the name escapes me) down in Lymington Harbour. And if all else fails, go into Lymington British Legion.

Think we went to the 'yacht club' or something - in the harbour - did a good steak...

Ship Inn is alright... been awhile since I last went down there though.

 

After the last time I was in the Ship Inn, I swore I'd never go back... It was terrible.

 

Your best choice would be the Mayflower, which is down by the yacht clubs, or else the King's Head, which is on the cobbled bit, leading to the quay.

Got to say the Ship is far to poncey looking now! Didnt like being in there one bit!
