Bailey Posted 31 January, 2009 Posted 31 January, 2009 Just seen that he is on trial at Charlton and available on a free. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11688_4874396,00.html Worth us having a look at IMO. He's strong, powerful and pretty quick too. Did OK at Fulham when he first joined them but hasn't really settled anywhere since. Could he be the answer to the 'physical' striker we're looking to sign? Oh and not to mention he's Dutch too.
Saint_clark Posted 31 January, 2009 Posted 31 January, 2009 Definitely. Ironically enough, I just signed him on FM on a free as well Anyway, we should DEFINITELY be in there. I've always rated him, and i'm very certain he could perform at this level. We're meant to be getting another striker in, and as you say he is Dutch, so fingers crossed. I will be delighted if we sign him.
Saint Martini Posted 31 January, 2009 Posted 31 January, 2009 Good player with a terrible attitude. I wouldn't want him anywhere near our club.
Thedelldays Posted 31 January, 2009 Posted 31 January, 2009 Good player with a terrible attitude. I wouldn't want him anywhere near our club. and how do you know he has a bad attitude..?
Saint Martini Posted 31 January, 2009 Posted 31 January, 2009 Because numerous managers at several clubs have said so.
Window Cleaner Posted 31 January, 2009 Posted 31 January, 2009 Because numerous managers at several clubs have said so. But that cuts no mustard, have a look at the diverse Skacel threads. Even though he's been a wanting to leave since he got here, nobody thinks it important that 50 or so people have said so.

Window Cleaner Posted 31 January, 2009 Posted 31 January, 2009 Which managers have said Rudi has a bad attitude? link please Lee Hoos said last January he wanted to leave. Jan said Rudi had to "get his head right".I put up a link some time back from Hearts about Rudi's agent saying that he (Rudi) was a premiership player and Hearts should let him go for free so that he could sign for West Ham and a million in signing on bonus. You'll have to trawl the net yourself for the links. The point was that although there are many documented cases of him wanting to leave clubs nobody seems to believe them.
