ability - Skacel

if he shows the commitment in some of games this season -Skacel

if he is not bothered -Molyneux

Was very disappointed in my first view of Molyneux in last home game but happy to see how he does, certainly showed some potential and wants to do the job for us

rather have the geezer who i imagine is trying to get his career started than a player who is just looking for another pay packet as his career is starting to wind down.

Who would you prefer?

SKACEL. Molecule is as tiny in talent as his name suggests on current evidence.

Trouble is... his will to live has finally been broken by Lowe's policies.

how times have you seen him play?

Moly, neaux needs a big game tomorrow and if he does he is well on the road.

I wonder how bad he is going to have to play before Mills gets another chance?

Just out of interest who would play right back if James got injured?

I would prefer a fit and motivated Rudi of course, he has more natural skill, however he hasn't used it here, and his heart was never at saints from the beggining

Seen Mills play about five times and rate highly. I have not seen Moly play so I wouls accept your comparison. Seems they are at an equal stage/age..Never understood the need to bring in with finances etc. Wait to be told otherwise.

Always thought Hatch would have broken through but he got injured and was ill at wrong times. On his way back now?

James definitely mid-field player when I have seen him play...Not sure about RB but then again he has had plenty of games. You could play Hatch with James in front with both working for each other down the right..tighter at defending with both good ability to go forwards.

Wotte, I am available for your coaching team.

I know it's still early days, but so far Molyneaux has been sh*t imo.

Last chance v The Swans or too much of a gamble or all we've got unless Skacelis not off.

Probably why I could never Manage. My wife says I can't Manage myself to be fair..She is always right..Something else she told me.:)

Skacel has to rate as one of the most over hyped Saints players of recent times, rarely saw commitment from him or ability in line with his purchase price

Not too impressed by Molyneaux's first show but have no option but to wait and see

Just to be awkward I want to see Joseph Mills given a proper chance on the left side .

likewise. He looked a far better prospect than James yet it was James that got that extra time needed to improve. Skacel did pretty well when he came in but only his heading appeared to be better than what Mills served up. IMO what MIlls needs is games and lots of them. If he had got the game James has had I would suggest he would be flying by now.

My tuppence worth:

Tend to agreed with Chez and Charlie, who as I recall is a Johnny Cash fan, so also has good taste in music.

:smt045

You're so right SoccerMum , my Johnny Cash addiction is getting totally out of control - over 6 hours worth on my MP3 player now ranging from the early stuff all the way up to the magnificent 'American Recordings'. (I also have 'Murder in Coweta County' on DVD - how sad is that :smt100 ) . I could move on to my deep love of Hank Williams and his works but I fear I might bore the arse off the rest of the forum and ruin any little credibility I may retain .

Dragging the subject away from the man in black and back to the more mundane issue of Southampton Football Club young Mills really is a star in the making and quite possibly the best of the youngsters we've seen this season , it surprises me more people haven't noticed .

Ha, ha, not with me - have you got the newly-discovered radio transcriptions yet?

On the other thread OSM said that Fish had been suffering with illness and injury. Surely by now he's better?

There's newly discovered Hank Williams out there ! - I shall track it down if it's the last thing I do . Sorry to hear 'fish' is unwell , does explain his otherwise inexplicable disappearance from the team I suppose .

Agreed. I don't think he'll improve either to be honest, and i'm usually the kind of person who gives players lots of time to prove themselves.

We should have signed Phil Ifil when we had the chance then that wouldn`t even be a question.

He only went for 250k in the end, shocking that we let him go really. Especially considering it was with Spurs, it would have probably been easy just to write of a chunk of the Bale debt and get Ifill instead.

Exactly. Who was the twit who let him go?

Moly not good enough...Again young lad out of his depth only third/fourth choice at Everton...Better than Mills..No SO just mess Skacel around until you p.ss him off like you have all season...Not a clue Lowe/Wilde and your Dutch Masterclass.

Posted

Someone else. Rudi's been messed around so much that I don't blame him for wanting out and anyway LB is not his prefered position. Moly seems a liability. Mills or bring someone in with a bit more experience once Rudi's wages are off the books.

Posted

Put in an almost passable shift today until the totally misstimed crap challange that got him sent off. At least one awesome tackle at the start of the 2nd half. I dunno about him tbh. Shouldnt have got sent off today tho. Idiot.

Posted

Caught out of position far too many times today and made a ridiculous challenge to get himself a second yellow. Has a lot growing up to do. Personally would rather have Skacel, but that looks pretty unlikely now...

Kids versus men.

Get on your knees Wotte and beg Skacel to stay.

As usual youthful inexperience gets a kid sent off...NO MORE KIDS!

Should have always been Scacel but after todays

absolutley awfull performance by Molyneux topped off by the sending off

Scacel is a must...

But Lowe and the band of yes men have made him so unwelcome

he wants out.
