Assuming defeats at home to Man City and Arsenal (by some margin, I expect), Saints will then have won the grand total of 3 home games out of 38 in the last two Premiership campaigns.
Whilst the club had a habit of relegation fights at The Dell, we were generally competitive at home but comparatively crap away.
In the last two seasons more points have been won away from home than at St Marys.
Perhaps the lady who turned up the dispel the gremlins who apparently put a spell on the stadium, as it was supposed to have been built on sacred burial ground, could pay a return visit ahead of next season🙄
As things stand, the club is likely to record 36 points out of a total 228 available during our last two flirtations with the Prem.
Appalling and no wonder the number of season tickets, which have generally been sold in decent numbers, will plummet next year.

We have been in the Premier League, we are not Scottish or gone back to 2007!

All that aside I think SMS has been a toxic place, but probably more in the last relegation. This time around we have just been a terrible side in a league that is far too strong for us. I doubt Leicester are looking much better, and then Ipswich.

I know what you mean, toxic people interested in the psyche of other posters armed with a vicious tongue.

Why Elon Musk? You never elaborated?

I simply said why not. It was not really a question in response either.

Anyway, back to the toxicity of the fanbase 😂

There must be a reason why though? Was it because #martino didn't work? 😂

Toxicity…. Don’t be that person!

Just tell us why? You didn't just pick a random person's picture, so there must be a reason for it. Is it because he's a bully and you want to come across as hard? It's not working if that is it.

SMS is a pretty bland stadium and nothing like The Dell to help make opponents feel the pressure. On the contrary, I suspect opposition teams look forward to having a pleasant day out at St Mary's.

Flawed. There’s relatively little toxicity inside the stadium, more apathy. Most of the toxicity comes from non-match going fans.

Those commenting on the match thread after yesterday’s game that had clearly been at St Mary’s were more pragmatic.

There's far more toxicity on this forum than there is at games. In fact given how utterly pathetic we've been over a fairly long period in the PL, I'd say there's very little toxicity and the fans have been amazingly supportive.

We're shit at home because the team is shit, not because the fans are toxic.

Our Premier League home record since the start of the 2017/18 season.

Played 131

Won 32

Drawn 35

Lost 64

Scored 150

Conceded 222

That includes a chunk of when we were half decent behind closed doors.

It’s not like that at the games, the atmosphere’s been excellent for the last few home games, away has been superb.

We’ve pretty much been shit at home for a decade so it’s definitely not just that.

Not a decade. But certainly this season.

Look at my post further up. It’s been 8 years of utter drivel at home, obviously this year is the worst but it’s not been a tough place to go for a long long time.

Since Ronald left, still good at home 2015/16. Under Puel definitely more of an away team, under the dreadful Pellegrino awful anywhere with a good squad with a manager scared witless to afraid to attack, and the away record was much better than the home under Ralph. Similar home and way record last season but not as clinical as should have been at home eg Rotherham to over-passing and wasting the ball and time when having a narrow lead.

Seem on social media, I wouldn’t say it’s shown in or outside the stadium.

Not sure why the autopsy has began already, I reckon someone should just grab the defibrillator, because this shit isn't over yet. We have one more point to grind.

Then, lets tear the place down with a fucking riot.

And people being triggered by a picture of Elon. Oh my. Give your head a wobble. If Alex is wrong, debate him. Not key his tesla.

So true. West Ham away and Fulham at home - despite the fact we were already relegated - the support was immense! Supportive and loud.

This simply isn’t true. This reads like you don’t attend matches. If you do, I don’t know what you’re hearing or seeing.

I don't attend matches - you're correct - haven't been for a long time as was previously not in the country, then COVID, then now don't get the time due to my profession.

I was using the state of this board as an example, but obviously I'm wrong!
