Dusic Posted Saturday at 17:49 Posted Saturday at 17:49 An example of what good recruitment looks like for a club like ours IMO. Lacking opportunity at a big club despite clear ability, available for almost every game, great attitude despite being harshly dropped for Livramento and often asked to play different roles. Over his time here pretty much all our best attacking performances have involved him driving down the right. Imagine he leaves with the best wishes of all and the fact he has experienced successive PL relegations is harsh on him. One of our best RBs, shame he wasnt around as an option when we replaced Clyne as part of a better Saints team. 20
Forester Posted Saturday at 17:54 Posted Saturday at 17:54 Been an excellent player. But worth remembering that we signed him on loan and he struggled to get in our team first season. The point being he was playing with better players and was given time to adapt. 2

As far as I've seen he's given 100% every time he's been on the pitch, even since he knew he wasn't going to renew (probably 2 years at least). He's a mid table premier league player and deserves to be playing in the top league. Didn't push for a move when we got relegated and helped get us back up. Best of luck to him. ant Posted Saturday at 22:59 Posted Saturday at 22:59 Bluntly I do think he's gone missing on occasion, and there's likely to be some 'he's leaving soon, but overall been ace, so we'll be kind' revisionism. But Kyle's a fantastic, positive player that reminds us we can get it bloody right, now and again. Whether he failed to get a move away last summer or chose to dig in, his level of professionalism was above reproach. That he made the Championship team of the season is all you need to know. There's few of the current lot that I'll miss; KWP is one of them. 9
beatlesaint Posted Sunday at 08:45 Posted Sunday at 08:45 (edited) He isnt the greatest defender, lets not pretend he is, BUT overall what an excellent player he's been for us. Never (appears) to kick up a fuss, just keeps his head down and gets on with the job. After 200 games he deserves his move, not that many players get to that landmark these days. As stated above, I too wont miss many of this lot if they go but KWP I will. Edited Sunday at 08:45 by beatlesaint 4

But he isn’t quite the success for our Recruitment team you and they may now claim. My recollection is that he was third choice RB or RWB that year after Maehle and then some bloke Zeefuik (or similar) with bids reported but rejected. Maehle would have been a good signing in my view, but Zeefuick seems to have disappeared without trace. This isn’t to detract from KWP who’s been a good signing for us, but does seem remarkable that a successful signing wasn’t the one our esteemed recruitment team had targeted.
spyinthesky Posted Sunday at 17:25 Posted Sunday at 17:25 I must admit not being enamoured when he was signed from Spurs. Not first choice there and the fee was fairly tasty at the time. However he has been a shining light in our team since arriving and I will be sad to see him go but wish him all the best for the future KWP, Fernandes and Ramsdale have been the only players worth their wages this season and, as far as I understand, KWP has been nowhere near the top of the wages here.
SteveGc Posted Wednesday at 12:58 Posted Wednesday at 12:58 Kyle has been absolutely brilliant for us since he’s been here. He is exactly what the younger players should aspire to works hard, excellent attitude, team player, appreciates the fans and club. He said when we were relegated he would stay and try to get us back and we did, must be so demoralising what has happened this season. I will be sorry to see him leave but he absolutely has my best wishes and thanks. I don’t think anyone can begrudge him a new challenge. Well done Kyle and thank you an all round great pro and lad 7
