Yeah, Dawson on Sky made it sound like he missed a sitter, ok he probably should have scored but it was hardly a Che Adams stood on the line special !

He was looking at the goal and not the ball. It’s a fundamental football rule that you should always keep your eyes on the ball. You should see your laces hit it. Or boot, at least. He swung his boot through where he thought the ball was going to be. At his stage of development this is a basic.

Manning's one of the Martin friends group, but he was the only one from the group Martin doubted could make the step up, hence the signings of Taylor and Wellington and why Manning wasn't getting a look in at the start of the season and linked with a move away. He's now in the team because he's got a bit of fight about him and does put in effort, but we do need more quality there.

I like Wellington he reminds me of Bertrand and think could be good next season.

It is such a split second moment I don't think you can say that .

Watching so many replays over the years so many fantastic shots have had a nick from a defenders boot to put it out of reach of the goalie or it's come off a shin or hit into the ground that it's not right to slag Dibling off in this case 🙂

Hes crap but he’s fine for champ level tbh. 
 

Full backs at that level are generally pretty horrific.

It should be an automatic technique. Maybe billiard table pitches have spoilt too many players. Those of us who played Sunday League know that just getting some contact of the ball can be difficult at times.

Only things I'd say are, many would have missed so that's that.

But of course he does play at that level so that amount of time is probably 5 seconds to those who never have or will make it to his level.

Yeah I see people are trying to make excuses but it was a shocking miss. Happens to the best though. Dibling does lack composure but I guess he's only young. 

KWP's was pretty bad too although he's not a forward so a bit more understandable.

A point I was happy with. On another day we would have won that game. In the first half we hit the crossbar and had a few other good chances. Lovely move for our goal. Excellent build up play from Fernandes, Dibling and KWP for Lesley to finish expertly with the volley 😊 I thought Rusk and Lallana got it spot on tactically 😊 hopefully we can build on this. COYR 😊
